The Susquehannock Trail Performance Rally (STPR) is an annual rally racing event that is held in Wellsboro, Pennsylvania. [1] [2]

Contents

History

The STPR was part of the Rally America National Rally Championship, and in 2017 it became sanctioned by the American Rally Association. [2]

SCCA ProRally was an American rally racing series, run by the Sports Car Club of America from 1973 until 2004. The SCCA discontinued it for 2005, due to concerns about safety and insurance. It allowed Rally America to replace it, utilizing most of the same venues and existing infrastructure.

The Susquehannock Trail System (STS) is an 83.4-mile (134.2 km) loop hiking trail in Susquehannock State Forest in Potter County in north-central Pennsylvania, United States. The trail walks through two state parks and passes near three more state parks. It also traverses Hammersley Wild Area, the largest area in Pennsylvania without a road. The loop is supplemented by two cross-connector trails, several short access trails, a shared path with the Donut Hole Trail, and two connectors to the Black Forest Trail. The STS is the oldest backpacking trail in Pennsylvania, and has been noted for its solitude while traversing remote areas with few signs of civilization. The STS also includes several overnight shelters.

Romanian Rally Championship is the annual rally series in Romania. It is organized by FRAS and sponsored by Dunlop.

The FIA WRC2 Championship is a support championship of the World Rally Championship (WRC). The calendar consists of the same rallies and stages as the parent series and crews usually compete immediately after Rally1 class crews. WRC2 is limited to production-based cars homologated under Group Rally2 rules. There are separate specific championship titles awarded to Teams, Drivers and Co-Drivers.

The 2013 Rally America Championship is the ninth season of the Rally America Championship. This championship is the premier rally championship in the United States. The season began 25 January in Michigan, and is scheduled to return to Michigan for the Lake Superior Performance Rally on 19 October after seven events.

The 2014 Rally America Championship was the tenth season of the Rally America Championship, the premier rally championship in the United States. The season began 24 January in Michigan, and returned to Michigan for the Lake Superior Performance Rally, the final round of the season, on 18 October after eight events.

The 2003 SCCA ProRally Season was the 31st season of the SCCA ProRally and won by Manxman David Higgins and co-driver Daniel Barritt. Nine rounds were held but the season was overshadowed by a tragic accident at the Oregon Trail Rally in which the 2001 champion Mark Lovell and his co-driver Roger Freeman were killed. They were the second and third drives to die in the series, after Jonel Broscanc, who was killed in an accident at the 1992 Susquehannock Trail Performance Rally.

The 2001 SCCA ProRally Season was the 29th season of the SCCA ProRally and won by Mark Lovell from England. Ten rounds were held from January 2001 to October 2001. The co-driver title went to Frank Cunningham. The manufacturer's title went to Subaru.
