Suzanne Maddock (born 13 February 1976) is an English actress, singer and voice actress. Suzanne has been an industry professional since 1994, working in both TV and Film. [1] She first appeared in the ITV police procedural drama The Bill as PC Cass Rickman from 1999 to 2002. Her character was killed off in the highly rated Sun Hill Serial Killer storyline. [2]

Suzanne had previously appeared as a central character in later episodes of Hetty Wainthropp Investigates, starring opposite Dominic Monaghan as Janet Frazer, for 10 episodes between 1997 and 1998. [3] She also guest starred in Casualty , Silent Witness , and appeared in the films Land and Freedom and Stella Does Tricks . [2]

Hetty Wainthropp Investigates is a British crime drama television series, starring Patricia Routledge as the title character, Henrietta "Hetty" Wainthropp, that aired for four series between 3 January 1996 and 4 September 1998 on BBC One. The series, spawned from a pilot episode entitled "Missing Persons" aired by ITV in 1990, was co-created by writers David Cook and John Bowen, co-starred Derek Benfield as Hetty's patient husband Robert, and Dominic Monaghan as her assistant and lodger Geoffrey Shawcross. It marked Monaghan’s acting debut.

The Sun Hill Serial Killer was a major storyline from the ITV police procedural drama The Bill. They were known on screen as the "River Murders", due to the bodies being left on the banks of the River Thames. The storyline spanned several months, from July 2002 to January 2003, with cast regular Cass Rickman, killed off at the denouement in December 2002. It also served as the exit storyline for DC Duncan Lennox, who transferred from Sun Hill Police Station to the Murder Investigation Team during the plot. The storyline concluded with the killer's capture in 2003 after they kidnapped Acting DI Samantha Nixon. It was the first of several serial killer storylines in the show.
