Svensk Kassaservice (Swedish Cashier Service) is a former subsidiary of Posten AB - the Swedish postal service. Svensk Kassaservice provided a retail cashier service of processing simple transactions such as paying bills, withdrawing and depositing money from/to bank accounts of several Swedish banks. Among other services that was provided were the ordering of Swedish identity cards.

A retail cashier or simply a cashier is a person who handles the cash register at various locations such as the point of sale in a retail store. The most common use of the title is in the retail industry, but this job title is also used in the context of accountancy for the person responsible for receiving and disbursing money or within branch banking in the United Kingdom for the job known in the United States as a bank teller.

Svensk Kassaservice was split off from Posten in 2001.

Svensk Kassaservice was closed down on 31 December 2008 and all its offices was closed by then. [1]

There are 30 post offices in Norway, in addition to 1400 outlets in retail stores.

Post Danmark A/S is the company responsible for the Danish postal service. Established in 1995 following political liberalization efforts, it has taken over the mail delivery duties of the governmental department Postvæsenet ; it was turned into a public limited company in 2002. In 2005, 22% of the company shares were sold to CVC Capital Partners, 3.5% of the company shares were partly sold to employees at a discount, partly kept in reserve for a management incentives program.

Bring Citymail

Bring Citymail AB is a private postal organisation owned by Posten Norge, operating in Sweden and Denmark, competing with the state-owned Posten Sverige and Post Danmark. Bring Citymail closed down distribution in Denmark at the end of 2009.

PostNord AB is the name of the holding company of the two merged postal companies Posten AB and Post Danmark that were officially merged on 24 June 2009. The name of the group was changed 17 May 2011 from Posten Norden to PostNord.

The Swedish Film Database is an internet database about Swedish films, published by the Swedish Film Institute. It contains information about all Swedish films from 1897 onwards and foreign films that had cinema premiere in Sweden. Ametist Azordegan

Ametist Azordegan is a Swedish journalist, television presenter and radio presenter. She was born in Tehran, Iran, but left in 1986, and studied journalism in Stockholm. She presented the Sveriges Radio music show En kärleksattack på svensk hiphop between 2007 and 2014, which was broadcast on P3 and SR Metropol.
