Swara Veenapani (born Vogeti Naga Venkata Ramana Murthy) is a lyricist and Telugu cinema music director. He holds a Guinness world record for longest church organ marathon. [1]
Swara Veenapani's first film was "Pattukondi Chooddam" had a box office run of 100 days. [2] Veenapani's latest films are Devasthanam [3] [4] and Mithunam . [5] [6] [7] Recently he completed his research on 72 Melakartha Ragaas and he brought the entire theme as a song in a span of 6 and 1/2 minute and the other version is of 3 and 1/2 minute. He has been working for the last 16 years on the Swaranidhi project [8] which has been registered as Swaranidhi. He is working vigorously to spread the same to the World which can be most useful to the Music Students, Musicians and Music Lovers to know the capsule format of 72 Mela karta ragas in an easy way. Swaranidhi project got a huge applause from the stalwarts of Indian Music.
Swara Veenapani has set a Guinness world record for longest marathon church organ playing by rendering the 72 Melakarta ragas continuously on his musical instrument for 61 hours and 20 minutes(2 days 13 hours 20 minutes) at an event in London on 2 October 2019. [9] [10]
He was born in Ravela village, Tadikonda Mandal in Guntur district to Seetha Annapurnamma and Vogeti Lakshmi Narasimha Sastry. He is married to Lakshmi and has two children.
Carnatic music, known as Karnāṭaka saṃgīta or Karnāṭaka saṅgītam in the South Indian languages, is a system of music commonly associated with South India, including the modern Indian states of Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Kerala and Tamil Nadu. It is one of two main subgenres of Indian classical music that evolved from ancient Hindu texts and traditions, particularly the Samaveda. The other subgenre being Hindustani music, which emerged as a distinct form because of Persian or Islamic influences from Northern India. The Pancharatna kritis are a set of five kritis (songs) in Carnatic classical music, composed by the 18th-century Indian composer Tyagaraja. All the kritis, as is the case with almost all of Tyagaraja's compositions, are penned in Telugu, except the first one, which is composed in Sanskrit. The songs are: "Jagadananda karaka", "Dudukugala Nanne", "Sadhinchene", "Kanakana Ruchira" and "Endaro Mahanubhavulu".

Chidera Anamege, now known by his stage name Chiddy Bang, is an American rapper from Philadelphia. Prior to its breakup, Chiddy Bang was an American hip hop duo consisting of Anamege, under the stage name Chiddy, and Noah Beresin, under the stage name Xaphoon Jones. The duo was introduced by former band member Zachary Sewall in late 2008 while the two were studying at Drexel University, in Beresin's hometown of Philadelphia. Anamege's sound is based on the fusion of hip hop and alternative using samples from artists such as Ellie Goulding, Radiohead, Sufjan Stevens, Passion Pit, MGMT, Matt and Kim and Yelle. Balantrapu Rajanikanta Rao was an Indian writer, composer and poet in the Telugu language. He was the son of Balantrapu Venkatarao, one of modern Telugu poet-duo "Kavi Rajahamsa" Venkata Parvateswara Kavulu. He won several national and state level awards for his work. He died in April 2018 at the age of 98.
The Asampurna Melakarta scheme is the system of 72 ragas originally proposed in the 17th century by Venkatamakhin in his Chaturdanda Prakasikha. This proposal used scales with notes that do not conform to the sampurna raga system. Skipped notes or repeated notes, etc., were used in some of the ragas. Some of the ragas of any Melakarta system will use Vivadi swaras. The original system is supposed to avoid such ill-effects and was followed by the Muthuswami Dikshitar school. The naming of the original system followed Katapayadi system. Muthuswami Dikshitar's compositions use the name of these ragas in the lyrics of the songs and is still referred to by those names even in radio / TV announcements of these songs.

Mithunam (transl. Couple) is a 2012 Indian Telugu-language drama film directed by Tanikella Bharani. The film only two on-screen characters—S. P. Balasubrahmanyam and Lakshmi. The film is based on a best selling Telugu novel of the same name, written by Sri Ramana. The film won four state Nandi Awards.
