James Allan Anderson OBE is a Scottish former paralympic swimmer who competed in the S2 classification. He is a six-time Paralympic Games, nine-time World Paraswimming champion.

Chile made its Paralympic Games début at the 1992 Summer Paralympics in Barcelona, sending a two-man delegation: a swimmer and a powerlifter. S2, SB1, SM2 are disability swimming classifications used for categorizing swimmers based on their level of disability. People in this class have limited use of their arms, and no or extremely limited use of their hands, legs and trunk. Swimmers in this class have a variety of different disabilities including cerebral palsy and amputations.
