Swiss Days

Swiss Days is the name of an annual festival that takes place in three American towns with Swiss heritage, Berne, Indiana, [1] Midway, Utah, [2] and Santa Clara, Utah. [3]

The Santa Clara River is a 52-mile-long (84 km) river whose three forks join above Pine Valley in the Pine Valley Mountains in Washington County, Utah, United States. The 2012–13 Santa Clara Broncos men's basketball team represented the University of Santa Clara during the 2012–13 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. This was head coach Kerry Keating's sixth season at Santa Clara. The Broncos played their home games at the Leavey Center and were members of the West Coast Conference. They finished the season 26–12, 9–7 in WCC play to finish in fourth place. They lost in the quarterfinals of the WCC tournament to Loyola Marymount. They were invited to the 2013 College Basketball Invitational where they defeated Vermont, Purdue and Wright State to advance to the best-of-three games finals against George Mason. They won the series 2 games to 1 to become the 2013 CBI Champions. Santa Clara is the first school to win a CBI championship and a CIT championship.

Nellie McArthur Gubler was a genealogist and notable citizen of Santa Clara, Utah.She worked to collect materials related to southern Utah history, which has aided in books written about the location. She was given multiple awards due to her contributions to history and research. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she worked with the Primary children's organization. Gubler also published books on the history of Santa Clara, specifically about the LDS church's history there. In 1929, she married Emil Gubler and had 12 children.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">So Cal Challenge</span>

The So Cal Challenge is an eight-team college basketball tournament held during Monday and Wednesday of Thanksgiving week of the NCAA Division I men's basketball season, with the inaugural tournament taking place in 2021. Following games held at campus sites, teams are placed into either the Sand Division or the Surf Division and compete for the tournament title in their division. Semifinal and final games are held at The Pavilion at JSerra in San Juan Capistrano, California. Each of the games played on campus in the days leading up to the main event involves one team from each division. The event is hosted by the Big West Conference.
