Virgin Media One, also called Virgin One, is an Irish free-to-air television channel owned by Virgin Media Ireland, operated through its subsidiary Virgin Media Television. The channel launched on 20 September 1998, as TV Three, becoming Ireland's fourth television channel and the first commercial channel. It was known as TV3 from 2006, and then as Virgin Media One from 30 August 2018. The channel broadcasts a mix of Irish programming and acquired programming from ITV and other networks.
Marian Finucane was an Irish broadcaster with RTÉ. Finucane began working with the national broadcaster in 1974, starting as a continuity announcer. She went on to host Women Today (1979–1983), the first Irish women's affairs radio programme presented and produced by women, as well as its successor, The Women's Programme (1983–1986); she was the first presenter of Liveline (1985–1999); and she also presented The Marian Finucane Show at weekend lunchtimes on RTÉ Radio 1 until her death.

The Morning Show with Sybil & Martin was a morning magazine show that aired on TV3 (Ireland). It launched on 11 May 2009 as part of a major overhaul of daytime programming on the channel. The programme aired live at 11:00 on weekdays, and was hosted by Sybil Mulcahy and Martin King. It focused on a variety of topical issues, such as healthcare, current affairs, entertainment, and real life stories. It also ran a number of competitions, which gave viewers the chance to become an author of their own published book, or to show off their unique talents such as singing and dancing. In February 2012, it was announced that Claire Brock would replace Sybil Mulcahy while the latter was on maternity leave.

Sarah McInerney is an Irish radio and TV presenter and reporter, notable for her work with RTÉ, TV3 / Virgin Media One and Newstalk, and a print journalist, notably having worked with the Sunday Tribune and The Sunday Times. From County Galway and with a degree in journalism from Dublin City University, she co-presents RTÉ's main commute-time radio programme, Drivetime, and RTÉ's flagship current affairs TV programme, Prime Time.
