Synergy School Radio is a digital integrated radio studio. Radio is a growing tool within education and is regularly cited for good practice and innovation. [1] School Radio projects have often received significant support from government and education consultants a like advocating the use of School Radio projects as part of good practice. [2] [3]

Synergy were behind the Determined to Broadcast bus. The bus received both support and sponsorship from Synergy but it was also Synergy radio studios that made up the core of the technology being used. The Synergy School Radio project received high-profile support from Radio Clyde's Ross King (presenter) and Gina McKie, XFM Scotland's Heather Suttie and GMTV presenter Jenni Falconer. [4]

Synergy School Radio are associated sponsors of the Sony Award category "Best School Radio station". [5] [6]

In September 2018 the brand was purchased by Clyde Broadcast Technology Limited.

Glasgow and South Western Railway

The Glasgow and South Western Railway (G&SWR) was a railway company in Scotland. It served a triangular area of south-west Scotland between Glasgow, Stranraer and Carlisle. It was formed on 28 October 1850 by the merger of two earlier railways, the Glasgow, Paisley, Kilmarnock and Ayr Railway and the Glasgow, Dumfries and Carlisle Railway. Already established in Ayrshire, it consolidated its position there and extended southwards, eventually reaching Stranraer. Its main business was mineral traffic, especially coal, and passengers, but its more southerly territory was very thinly populated and local traffic, passenger and goods, was limited, while operationally parts of its network were difficult.

Neilston Village in East Renfrewshire, Scotland

Neilston is a village and parish in East Renfrewshire in the west central Lowlands of Scotland. It is in the Levern Valley, 2 miles (3.2 km) southwest of Barrhead, 3.8 miles (6.1 km) south of Paisley, and 5.7 miles (9.2 km) south-southwest of Renfrew, at the southwestern fringe of the Greater Glasgow conurbation. The City of Glasgow Union Railway - City Union Line, also known as the Tron Line, was a railway company founded in Glasgow, Scotland, in 1864 to build a line connecting the railway systems north and south of the River Clyde, and to build a central passenger terminus and a general goods depot for the city. The through line, running from south-west to north-east across the city, opened in 1870–1, and the passenger terminal was St Enoch railway station, opened in 1876. Leeds Trinity University is a public university in Horsforth, Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. Originally established to provide qualified teachers to Catholic schools, it gradually expanded and now offers foundation, undergraduate, and postgraduate degrees in a range of humanities and social sciences.

The Cathcart District Railway was proposed to serve the arising demand for suburban residential travel on the south side of Glasgow, Scotland. It was planned as a loop running to and from Glasgow Central station, but at first only the eastern arm, to Cathcart via Queens Park, was built, opening in 1886. The western arm was opened in 1894 and trains operated round the loop. A frequent passenger train service was operated, and there was also a limited goods and mineral operation.

From 2014 to 31 May 2019, Robin was the breakfast radio presenter for Heart Scotland. Heart Breakfast with Robin and Adele aired every weekday from 6am-10am. Robin is currently the breakfast host for Pure Radio Scotland since November 2019. The station launched on Wednesday 27 November 2019 at 8am. Pure Radio Scotland is available online, on smart speakers and on DAB. Pure Radio Scotland currently has 3 former Heart Scotland presenters including Robin Galloway and Paul Harper and Lynne Hogan

Clyde Broadcast is a brand associated with the manufacture and supply of studio equipment for the radio broadcast industry. The name dates back to 'Clyde Electronics' who manufactured a series of analog mixers known as Alpha, Beta, Prima and Presenter.
