Syrena Record was a Polish record company.
The company was established in 1904 by Juliusz Fejgenbaum, a Warsaw businessman-industrialist. It took the name of Syrena Rekord in 1908. The company produced gramophone records till the invasion of Poland in 1939. The company's discography includes around 14,000 titles.

The Syrena was a Polish automobile model first exhibited at the Poznań Trade Fair in 1955 and manufactured from 1957 to 1972 by the Fabryka Samochodów Osobowych (FSO) in Warsaw and from 1972 until 1983 by Fabryka Samochodów Małolitrażowych (FSM) in Bielsko-Biała. 177,234 were manufactured by FSO and 344,077 by FSM, a total of 521,311. During its remarkably long production run it underwent only minor modifications.

Hemar was a final nom de plume adopted by Marian in his literary career. It was formed from the first two letters of his last name, Hescheles, and the first three letters of his given name, Marian.

His band performed world-renowned standards as well as his own compositions widely popular across the country. He died in Warsaw during the Holocaust in occupied Poland.

"Bal u starego Joska" is a waltz ballad by the Polish-Russian composer, Fanny Gordon, and lyricists, Julian Krzewiński and Leopold Brodziński. It is a popular Polish song in the piosenka apaszowska or apache songs genre which arose in the Polish underworld of the 1930s. The song was written around 1934 for one of Warsaw's literary cabaret theatres. The theatres were frequented by the Polish intelligentsia.
Varso is a neomodern office building complex, currently under construction in Warsaw, Poland. It was designed by Foster and Partners and developed by HB Reavis. It is the tallest building in Poland and in the European Union, and the sixth-tallest building in Europe at 310 m (1,020 ft) in height. It was topped out on 20 February 2021. The construction of Varso Tower will likely conclude in 2022.
Belf's Romanian Orchestra was a Jewish music recording ensemble from the Russian Empire. Although little is known about them, their numerous recordings for Syrena Rekord during the period of 1911 to 1914 are among the earliest documented examples of recorded klezmer music and are played in a style very different from the better-known American klezmer recordings of the 1910s and 1920s.
