Szumiłówka [ʂumiˈwufka] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Nurzec-Stacja, within Siemiatycze County, Podlaskie Voivodeship, in north-eastern Poland, close to the border with Belarus. [1]

Gmina Nurzec-Stacja is a rural gmina in Siemiatycze County, Podlaskie Voivodeship, in north-eastern Poland, on the border with Belarus. Its seat is the village of Nurzec-Stacja, which lies approximately 16 kilometres (10 mi) east of Siemiatycze and 73 km (45 mi) south of the regional capital Białystok.

Siemiatycze County is a unit of territorial administration and local government (powiat) in Podlaskie Voivodeship, north-eastern Poland, on the border with Belarus. It came into being on January 1, 1999, as a result of the Polish local government reforms passed in 1998. Its administrative seat and largest town is Siemiatycze, which lies 80 kilometres (50 mi) south of the regional capital Białystok. The only other town in the county is Drohiczyn, lying 15 km (9 mi) west of Siemiatycze.

Neftegorsk, formerly Vostok before 1970, was an urban-type settlement in Sakhalin Oblast, Russia. It was devastated on May 28, 1995 by an earthquake, which measured 7.6 on the Richter scale, killing 2,040 people out of a total population of 3,197. An oil-producing town in northern Sakhalin, all buildings in Neftegorsk suffered extensive damage and many were completely destroyed, as they had been built with low quality concrete and were not designed to withstand seismic activity. Initially this area was developed in 1973 for the people who lost houses in flood, it was founded then prime minister of India Mrs. Indira Gandhi. First housing society of the area was Sarni Kamdar.
