T. G. Thyagarajan (Thyagarajan Govindarajan) is an Indian film producer. [1] He made his debut as film producer with critically acclaimed film Moondram Pirai . He is the founder of the production and distribution company Sathya Jyothi Films. He has produced over 30 films and few television series with the production studio. His father Venus Govindarajan was also a reputed film producer. [2]
Thyagarajan initially produced films with Satya Movies owned by his father-in-law R. M. Veerappan before founding Sathya Jyothi Films in 1970's. [3] His first independent production venture, the Kamal Haasan starrer Moondram Pirai (1982) was a commercial success and was critically acclaimed. [4] The film also won the Tamil Nadu State Award for Best Film. His next venture Pagal Nilavu (1985) which was a maiden collaboration with Mani Ratnam was unsuccessful venture at the box office. Thyagarajan also produced sleeper hit film Parthiban Kanavu (2003) which eventually bagged the Tamil Nadu State Award for Best Film. He produced back to back 3 films with stars like Dhanush, Vikram Prabhu & Ajith Kumar in 2016 and 2017 titled Thodari (2016), Sathriyan (2017) and Vivegam (2017) respectively. In 2019, his production venture Viswasam became a box office success grossing around 200 crores which was also one of the biggest hit of his career. [7] After Viswasam, Thyagarajan collaborated with Dhanush again with Pattas (2020) which portrayed the Tamil martial arts Adimurai. [8] [9]

Moondram Pirai is a 1982 Indian Tamil-language romantic drama film written, directed and filmed by Balu Mahendra. The film stars Kamal Haasan and Sridevi, while Y. G. It revolves around a school teacher who rescues a woman with retrograde amnesia, from a brothel, and protects her in his house located in Ketti. The rest of the film shows how the woman recovers her memory with the teacher's help.
Parthiban Kanavu is a 2003 Indian Tamil-language romantic drama film written and directed by debutante Karu Pazhaniappan, an assistant to Parthiban. The film stars Srikanth in the title role with Sneha, where the latter plays a dual role. It had Manivannan and Vivek in supporting roles. The film's score and soundtrack are composed by Vidyasagar. The film released on 16 May 2003 and became a major success.

The film was shot in Tiruchirappalli and features Vikram Prabhu and Manjima Mohan. Kavin, Aishwarya Dutta and Rio Raj play supporting roles. The music was composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja with cinematography by Sivakumar Vijayan and editing by M. Venkat. The film was released on 9 June 2017.

Preetha Jayaraman is an Indian cinematographer. She is the niece of famous cinematographer P. C. Sreeram. Jayaraman was largely inspired by her uncle's work on field and later became an established Cinematographer. Viswasam (transl. Loyalty) is a 2019 Indian Tamil-language action drama film directed by Siva. The film stars Ajith Kumar, Nayanthara, Jagapathi Babu and Anikha Surendran. Produced by Sathya Jyothi Films, the film was officially announced on 20 November 2017 and principal photography began in May 2018.
Pattas (transl. Firecracker) is a 2020 Indian Tamil-language martial arts film written and directed by R. S. Durai Senthilkumar and produced by Sathya Jyothi Films. It stars Dhanush in a dual role, along with Sneha, Mehreen Pirzada, and Naveen Chandra while Nassar, Munishkanth, and Manobala play supporting roles. The film has music composed by Vivek-Mervin. It marks the second collaboration between Dhanush and director Durai Senthilkumar after Kodi. The film depicts Adimurai, an ancient martial art that was practiced in Tamil Nadu. For their roles, Dhanush and Sneha underwent martial arts training prior to the commencement of the filming.

Imman for the Indian Tamil-language action drama film of the same name directed by Siva, starring Ajith Kumar and Nayanthara in lead roles and produced by Sendhil Thyagarajan and Arjun Thyagarajan of Sathya Jyothi Films. The film was initially announced with Yuvan Shankar Raja as the composer, who left the project citing schedule conflicts and several other composers were rumoured to score music before the team approached Imman as the music director. This film marked Imman's first collaboration with Ajith Kumar and Siva.
