Dhanush is an Indian actor, producer and screenwriter known for his work in Tamil cinema. He has also appeared in some Hindi, English, Telugu, and Malayalam films. He made his acting debut in 2002 with the coming of age drama, Thulluvadho Ilamai, directed by his father Kasthuri Raja. His role as a mentally-disturbed man in Kaadhal Kondein (2003)—directed by his brother Selvaraghavan—won him critical acclaim. The following year, he starred in Subramaniam Siva's Thiruda Thirudi, a commercial success. Sathriyan (transl. Warrior) is a 2017 Indian Tamil-language action drama film written and directed by S. R. Prabhakaran and produced by Sathya Jyothi Films. The film was shot in Tiruchirappalli and features Vikram Prabhu and Manjima Mohan. Kavin, Aishwarya Dutta and Rio Raj play supporting roles. The music was composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja with cinematography by Sivakumar Vijayan and editing by M. Venkat. The film was released on 9 June 2017.

Jayaraman was largely inspired by her uncle's work on field and later became an established Cinematographer. Viswasam (transl. Loyalty) is a 2019 Indian Tamil-language action drama film directed by Siva. The film stars Ajith Kumar, Nayanthara, Jagapathi Babu and Anikha Surendran. Produced by Sathya Jyothi Films, the film was officially announced on 20 November 2017 and principal photography began in May 2018.
Pattas (transl. Firecracker) is a 2020 Indian Tamil-language martial arts film written and directed by R. S. Durai Senthilkumar and produced by Sathya Jyothi Films. It stars Dhanush in a dual role, along with Sneha, Mehreen Pirzada, and Naveen Chandra while Nassar, Munishkanth, and Manobala play supporting roles. The film has music composed by Vivek-Mervin. It marks the second collaboration between Dhanush and director Durai Senthilkumar after Kodi. The film depicts Adimurai, an ancient martial art that was practiced in Tamil Nadu. For their roles, Dhanush and Sneha underwent martial arts training prior to the commencement of the filming.
Viswasam (transl. Allegiance) is the soundtrack album composed by D. Imman for the Indian Tamil-language action drama film of the same name directed by Siva, starring Ajith Kumar and Nayanthara in lead roles and produced by Sendhil Thyagarajan and Arjun Thyagarajan of Sathya Jyothi Films. The film was initially announced with Yuvan Shankar Raja as the composer, who left the project citing schedule conflicts and several other composers were rumoured to score music before the team approached Imman as the music director. This film marked Imman's first collaboration with Ajith Kumar and Siva.

The music is composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar, with cinematography handled by Vivekanand Santhosham and editing handled by Prasanna G. K.
