ABC are an English pop band formed in Sheffield in 1980. Their classic line-up consisted of lead vocalist Martin Fry, guitarist and keyboardist Mark White, saxophonist Stephen Singleton, and drummer David Palmer.
Utah Saints are an English electronic music duo consisting of members Jez Willis and Tim Garbutt. The band had three top-ten and another five top-40 singles on the UK Singles Chart in the 1990s, as well as number-one dance tracks in the UK and US. They were notable for pioneering use of sampling technology, in particular, their practice of manipulating samples from mainstream pop, rock, R&B and soul songs and combining them with contrasting dance beats, using the samples in a new context. The band wrote, produced and mixed all of their own music. The duo were joined on stage by additional musicians when they played live from 1991 to 2001. They were one of the first electronic groups to play as a live collective and supported both the Shamen and U2 live at 10 stadium shows. Since then the duo have performed live sets themselves.
Gwendolyn Guthrie was an American singer-songwriter and pianist who also sang backing vocals for Aretha Franklin, Billy Joel, Stevie Wonder, Peter Tosh, The Limit and Madonna, among others, and who wrote songs made famous by Ben E. King, Angela Bofill and Roberta Flack. Guthrie is well known for her 1986 anthem "Ain't Nothin' Goin' On but the Rent," and for her 1986 cover of the song "(They Long to Be) Close to You."
The Walkmen is an American indie rock band formed in New York City, in 2000. The band consists of Hamilton Leithauser (vocals), Paul Maroon, Walter Martin, Peter Matthew Bauer and Matt Barrick (drums) - all former members of Jonathan Fire*Eater and the Recoys.

New Order were formed in 1980 by singer, guitarist and keyboardist Bernard Sumner, bassist Peter Hook and drummer Stephen Morris. The group began life as a continuation of their former incarnation Joy Division. Joy Division had disbanded after the death of the lead singer Ian Curtis. Gillian Gilbert, who was Morris's girlfriend at the time, soon joined the group and played guitar and keyboards.

Reid, Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds, and Daryl Simmons for her self-titled debut album (1993). Selected as the album's fourth single, it was released on CD on April 21, 1994, by LaFace and Arista Records. It peaked at number seven on the US Billboard Hot 100 and number three on the Billboard Hot R&B Singles chart, while reaching the top ten of the Canadian Singles Chart. The music video for "You Mean the World to Me" was directed by Lionel C. Martin.
Grant Nelson, also known as Wishdokta, Bump & Flex and N'n'G, is an English DJ, remixer and record producer. In the 1990s, inspired by producers such as Masters at Work, MK and Eddie Perez, he played an important role in the development of the UK garage genre, being heralded as the "Godfather of UK Garage".

UK garage, abbreviated as UKG, is a genre of electronic dance music which originated in England in the early to mid-1990s. The genre was most clearly inspired by jungle, but also incorporates elements from dance-pop and R&B. It is defined by percussive, shuffled rhythms with syncopated hi-hats, cymbals, and snares, and may include either 4/4 house kick patterns or more irregular "2-step" rhythms. Garage tracks also commonly feature 'chopped up' and time-stretched or pitch-shifted vocal samples complementing the underlying rhythmic structure at a tempo usually around 130 BPM.
Jacob Manson is a British multi platinum-selling music producer, DJ and songwriter best known as a member of house production duo Blonde with Adam Englefield. Manson signed a publishing deal with Sony ATV in 2013. Blonde was then signed by Parlophone in 2014.
Smokin Beats are a house and garage duo consisting of Paul Landon and Neil Rumney. The duo founded their own record label Smokin Beats and released a string of singles throughout the 1990s and 2000s, and one album Ready to Fly in 1997. They are best known for the 1997 hit single "Dreams" featuring singer Lyn Eden which reached No. 23 on the UK Singles Chart and No. 1 on the UK Dance Chart. Redbull.com included the song in their list of "10 underground UK garage classics that still sound fresh today".
Shelley Nelson is an English singer and songwriter from London, best known as the vocalist on the two top 20 hits by Tin Tin Out, "Here's Where the Story Ends" and "Sometimes", as well as the UK garage top 40 hit by Ed Case, "Something in Your Eyes". She has provided vocals on a large number of songs by different artists, including the 2001 duet with Chris de Burgh, "Two Sides to Every Story".
Club Asylum is the name of UK garage musician Jeremy Sylvester. They were originally a duo which consisted of Sylvester and Paul Emanuel. After the duo decided to go their separate ways, Sylvester continued to produce and remix under the Club Asylum moniker as a solo artist, and is still active to the present day.
"Dedicated to Love" is a song by UK garage/house musician TJ Cases featuring Marissa on vocals. It was released as a single in 2000 on Cases' own label Cut & Play Recordings and then on major label Warner-Elektra-Atlantic (WEA). A chart-topping dance hit, the song reached number one on the UK Dance Singles Chart as well as number 85 on the UK Singles Chart in December 2000. Initial pressings were credited as TJ Cases presents Marissa, then later solely to Marissa, with Cases credited as songwriter and producer on all CD and 12-inch releases.
De Nada were a UK garage act active in the early 2000s, fronted by singer Nadia, from Brixton, London. They were signed to Telstar's Wildstar Records, and their two singles, "Love You Anyway" and "Bring It on to My Love", both became top 30 hits in the UK, with the former also reaching No. 7 on the UK Dance Singles Chart.
Amira Rasheed, or simply known as Amira, is a dance music singer best known for the song "My Desire" which charted three times on the UK Singles Chart, with its highest position at No. 20 in 2001. It also reached No. 1 on the UK Dance Singles Chart for one week in its first release in December 1997, and was also the first number one Dance hit of 1998 after it climbed back to the top of the chart three weeks later in the week ending 3 January 1998. The song was produced by house music group Blaze, and each release contains numerous mixes of the song, with a popular UK garage mix by the Dreem Teem. Capital Xtra included this version in their list of "The Best Old-School Garage Anthems of All Time".
