Stonebrae Country Club, formerly TPC Stonebrae, formerly TPC San Francisco Bay, is an American links style golf course and private golf club located at Stonebrae Country Club in the hills above Hayward, California on the eastern side of the San Francisco Bay Area. Stonebrae Country Club is currently the newest Country Club in the San Francisco Bay Area and has a top 10 course rating in Northern California.
Stonebrae Country Club opened in 2007. The following year, the David McLay Kidd designed championship golf course became part of the Tournament Players Club network operated by the PGA Tour and was rebranded as the TPC San Francisco Bay and then the TPC Stonebrae. [1] As of January 1st, 2024, TPC Stonebrae was rebranded to Stonebrae Country Club. It is owned and operated by YCS Investments, an investment company of the family behind King Fook Holdings. [2]
Upon opening in 2007, Stonebrae has received the following awards: "Northern California’s Best New Course" (LINKS Magazine, 2007), "One of the Best New Golf Courses" (Travel + Leisure Golf, 2007), "6th Best New Private Course in America" (Golf Digest, 2008), 2015 National Private Course Winner for Environmental Leaders in Golf Awards (ELGA) presented by Golf Digest, Merit Winner for Private Facility – 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 (Environmental Leaders in Golf Awards (ELGA)).
From 2008 until 2019, Stonebrae was the host venue for the variously named Ellie Mae Classic at TPC Stonebrae, a tournament on the Korn Ferry Tour. [1] [3] The event was not held in 2013 due to the construction of a new clubhouse.
In 2014 the club opened a new 32,000 sq. foot Clubhouse that was named as 2014's "2nd Best New Clubhouse in the World" by Golf INC Magazine. [4]
In 2016 at the Ellie Mae Classic at Stonebrae, Stephan Jaeger set the 18 hole scoring record of 58 at a PGA Tour sanctioned event in the first round of the Ellie Mae Classic and the lowest 72 Hole Tournament aggregate score in history at a PGA Tour sanctioned event.
in 2017 at the Ellie Mae Classic at Stonebrae, Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors, received a Sponsors Exemption into the Tournament. During his professional golf debut, Stephen Curry recorded first and second round scores of 74. Curry returned to play in the 2018 event, again missing the cut with scores of 71-86. [5]

The Players Championship is an annual golf tournament on the PGA Tour. Originally known as the Tournament Players Championship, it began in 1974. The Players Championship at one point offered the highest purse of any tournament in golf. The field usually includes the top 50 players in the world rankings, but, unlike the major championships, it is owned by the PGA Tour and not an official event on other tours.
The Cognizant Classic is a professional golf tournament on the PGA Tour in south Florida. It was founded in 1972 as Jackie Gleason's Inverrary Classic, and prior to a schedule change in 2021 was frequently the first of the Florida events in late winter following the "West Coast Swing."
Tournament Players Club (TPC) is a chain of public and private golf courses operated by the PGA Tour. Most of the courses either are or have been hosts for PGA Tour events, with the remainder having frequently hosted events on the Korn Ferry Tour or PGA Tour Champions. In 2020, Harding Park became the first TPC course to host a major when it hosted the PGA Championship.
The Byron Nelson is a golf tournament in Texas on the PGA Tour, currently hosted by TPC Craig Ranch in McKinney, northeast of Dallas. Held in May, it is one of two PGA Tour stops in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex – which until the 2020-21 PGA Tour, was the only metropolitan area to host two events on separate courses in the area. The tournament is the leading fundraiser for charity on the PGA Tour and has raised more than $143 million. For much of its history, it was the only PGA Tour stop named after a professional golfer, and remains one of only two such events, along with the Arnold Palmer Invitational. As host, Byron Nelson (1912–2006) commonly made appearances during the tournament. It is hosted by the Salesmanship Club of Dallas, a 600-member civic organization, and has benefited the club's nonprofit Momentous Institute since its inception.
The FedEx St. Jude Championship, founded as the Westchester Classic in 1967, is a professional golf tournament on the PGA Tour. Since 2007, it has been played as the first tournament of the playoff system for the FedEx Cup, with the field limited to the top 70 players on the FedEx Cup points list at the end of the regular season; prior to 2023, the top 125 players were included. For sponsorship reasons, the tournament has previously been titled as The Northern Trust, The Barclays, and the Buick Classic.
The Desert Classic is a professional golf tournament in southern California on the PGA Tour. Played in mid-winter in the Coachella Valley, it is part of the tour's early season "West Coast Swing."

The John Deere Classic is a professional golf tournament on the PGA Tour. It is played annually in July, usually the week before The Open Championship, at TPC Deere Run in the Quad Cities community of Silvis, Illinois.
The Shriners Children's Open is a golf tournament on the PGA Tour in Nevada. Founded 41 years ago in 1983, it is the fourth event of the Tour's 2019–20 wrap-around season and is played annually in October in Las Vegas. It is currently held at the TPC Summerlin, west of central Las Vegas at an approximate average elevation of 2,700 feet (820 m) above sea level.
The National, originally titled for sponsorship reasons as the AT&T National and later as the Quicken Loans National, was a professional golf tournament on the PGA Tour from 2007 to 2018. It was hosted by Tiger Woods and benefited the Tiger Woods Foundation. It was usually held either in late June or during the Fourth of July weekend in the Washington, D.C. area, except for 2010 and 2011 when it was held near Philadelphia.

The Procore Championship, previously the Fortinet Championship and the Safeway Open, is a professional golf tournament, part of the PGA Tour. Originally sponsored by Fry's Electronics, it was first staged in 2007 as the Fry's Electronics Open at Grayhawk Golf Club's Raptor Course in Scottsdale, Arizona. It was renamed to the Frys.com Open in 2008 and moved to California in 2010, to CordeValle Golf Club in San Martin, southeast of San Jose. In October 2014, part of the PGA Tour's 2015 season, it moved north to Napa and the Silverado Country Club (North course).
TPC San Antonio is a golf resort in the south central United States, located in the Cibolo Canyons area north of San Antonio, Texas.
TPC Potomac at Avenel Farm is a private golf club in the eastern United States, located in Potomac, Maryland, a suburb northwest of Washington, D.C. It was formerly a regular stop on the PGA Tour as host of the Booz Allen Classic. After a major renovation to both clubhouse and course, the clubhouse reopened in late 2008 while the course reopened on April 28, 2009.

The 2020–21 PGA Tour was the 106th season of the PGA Tour, the main professional golf tour in the United States. It was also the 53rd season since separating from the PGA of America, and the 15th edition of the FedEx Cup.
