David (Taavi) Tainio (25 June 1874, Keuruu - 17 March 1929) was a Finnish journalist and politician. He was a member of the Parliament of Finland from 1907 to 1909, from 1911 to 1913 and from 1922 until his death in 1929, representing the Social Democratic Party of Finland (SDP). He was the chairman of the SDP from 1903 to 1905 and party secretary from 1918 to 1926. He was imprisoned for a while in 1918 for having sided with the Reds during the Finnish Civil War. [1]

He was a member of the Parliament of Finland from 1907 to 1913, from 1916 to 1918, from 1929 to 1930 and from 1933 to 1936, representing the Social Democratic Party of Finland (SDP). He was a presidential elector in the 1931 and 1943 presidential elections. During the Finnish Civil War of 1918, Sirén was a member of the Central Workers' Council of Finland, the legislature of the Finnish Socialist Workers' Republic. After the defeat of the Red side, he went into exile in Soviet Russia. He returned to Finland in the summer of 1921. In September 1921, he was given a prison sentence of nine years for his role in the Civil War. However, in October 1922 he was pardoned.

Axel Leonard Åhlström was a Finnish schoolteacher, journalist and politician, born in Helsinki. He was a member of the Parliament of Finland from 1929 until his death in 1934, representing the Social Democratic Party of Finland (SDP). He was a presidential elector in the 1931 Finnish presidential election. In 1918, Åhlström was imprisoned for having sided with the Reds during the Finnish Civil War. He was able to flee from the prison camp where he was being held and lived until 1922 under the assumed identity of Leonard Johanson. He eventually assumed his real identity.
