Table Tennis Victoria (TTV) is the State Sporting Organisation for the Sport of Table Tennis in Victoria.
TTV was formed in 1925.
It is affiliated with TTA (Table Tennis Australia), the ITTF (International Table Tennis Federation) and the OTTF (Oceania Table Tennis Federation).
TTV has over 4,500 registered members. Members have represented Australia in Olympic Games, Paralympic GamesCommonwealth Games, Able Bodied and Para World Championships, the World Cup and numerous other international competitions; including junior, youth and veteran levels. At the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games Victoria's Miao Miao earned fifth place and took Silver at the 2002 Manchester Commonwealth Games. While at the 2002 Manchester Commonwealth Games Jian Fang Lay captured two Silver and one Bronze medal for Australia. Jiang Fang Lay also combined with Miao Miao to win a Silver medal in the women's doubles and a Bronze medal in the women's teams event at the 2014 Commonwealth Games. [1] [2] [ citation needed ]

Li Jiawei is a Chinese-born Singaporean former table tennis player, four-time Olympian and twice Olympic medalist. She trained in Beijing's famous Shichahai Sports School with Olympic medalist Zhang Yining. In 1995, she moved to Singapore and in the following year, she commenced her international career as a competitive table tennis player. She became a Singapore citizen at the age of 18 years under the Foreign Sports Talent Scheme.

Craig Victory is a field hockey striker from Australia who played 102 international games for the Australia men's national field hockey team, the Kookaburras. He is a Commonwealth Games, World Cup and Champions Trophy Gold Medalist and was an Olympic Bronze Medalist with the Australia men's national field hockey team the Kookaburras at the 2000 in Sydney.
Table Tennis at the 2006 Commonwealth Games was held at the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre (MSAC) during March 16–26.

The Table Tennis Victoria Super League commenced on Good Friday, 6 April 2007, with its first ever Team Draft. The 2007 Table Tennis Victoria Super League brought 18 of Australia's top table tennis players together in a 10-week series involving 6 clubs. The stakes are high, only months away from qualification for the Beijing Olympics all players will want to make their mark. Each team will involve 2 male players and a female. All players are State or National representatives. On the day there were 26 athletes, 17 male and 9 female, vying for 12 male places and 6 female places on six teams. Kelly Sibley is a former professional table tennis player and current coach from England. Sibley won the singles, girls doubles and mixed doubles at the UK Junior Championships and has represented England at senior level at the Commonwealth Games, European Championships and World Championships.
Mamta Kharab is the former captain of the Indian women's hockey team. During the 2002 Commonwealth Games, she scored the winning goal which gave India the Gold. She also served as the model for the character of Komal Chautala in the 2007 Bollywood hit, Chak De India.Now she is working in Haryana police as a Deputy Supritendent of Police. She is a recipient of the Arjuna Award.
Jian Fang Lay-Hong, is a right-handed Australian ladies table tennis player. She plays penhold, with a long pimple rubber at one side for use of attacking, blocking as well as chopping. She is currently number 1 female player in Australia, as well as number 141 in the world.
Miao Miao is an Australian table tennis player who represented Australia at the Sydney, Athens, Beijing and London Olympic Games. Her best Olympic result was the quarter finals of the doubles tournament in Sydney. At the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne, she won a silver medal in the teams competition and a bronze medal in the doubles with Jian Fang Lay. Her parents immigrated to Poland when she was a child, and later to Australia. She is the highest ranked Australian table tennis player at the time of the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Virtually unknown in Australia she is well known in China.
Wang Yuegu is a Chinese-born Singaporean table tennis player who was ranked among the top ten players in the world. Wang made her inaugural appearance as a Singaporean table tennis player on the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) Pro Tour in June 2005 at the Volkswagen Korean Open in Suncheon, South Korea, where she and Sun Beibei took the silver medal in the women's doubles. On 24 September 2006, Wang achieved her first gold medal on the Pro Tour at the Japan Open in Yokohama. She repeated the feat against her compatriot Li Jiawei on 12 November at the ITTF Pro Tour German Open in Bayreuth. In June 2007, Wang helped Singapore sweep the women's team, women's doubles and mixed doubles gold trophies at the 17th Commonwealth Table Tennis Championships in Jaipur.
The European Table Tennis Championships is an international table tennis competition for the national teams of the member associations of the European Table Tennis Union (ETTU). First held in 1958, the ETTU organised the European Championships every two years in even-numbered years until 2002, when they changed to odd-numbered years. Since 2007, the competition has been contested annually.
Poojashree Venkatesha is an Indian former tennis player, primarily competing on the ITF Women's Circuit. She won a silver medal for her native country in the women's singles event at the 2008 Commonwealth Youth Games.

The Oceania Table Tennis Championships is a biennial table tennis tournament held by Oceania Table Tennis Federation (OTTF). Between 1996 and 2010, the tournament was held in conjunction with Oceania Junior Table Tennis Championships. In 2012 and 2014, the Men's Singles and Women's Singles events were held as the ITTF-Oceania Cup, which is the sole qualification event for the prestigious ITTF World Cup.
Galyna Volodymyrivna "Galia" Dvorak Khasanova is a Spanish table tennis player. She was born in Kyiv, but her family moved to Spain when she was two. Both of her parents were also international table tennis players. She won a bronze medal in the women's team event at the 2009 Mediterranean Games in Pescara, Italy. As of May 2019, Dvorak is ranked no. 94 in the world by the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF). Dvorak is a member of the table tennis team for CN Mataró, and is coached and trained by Peter Engel, Linus Mernsten, and her mother Flora Khasanova. She is also right-handed, and uses the classic grip.
This is a list of achievements in major international table tennis events according to gold, silver and bronze medal results obtained by athletes representing different nations. The objective is not to create a combined medal table; the focus is on listing the best positions achieved by athletes in major global events, ranking the countries according to the most podiums accomplished by athletes of these nations. In order to be considered for the making of the list, competitions must be ranked among the highest possible rank (R1) by the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF); these competitions are: 1) Summer Olympic Games, 2) Youth Olympic Games, 3) World Table Tennis Championships, 4) World Junior Table Tennis Championships, and 5) Table Tennis World Cup. Masters, as well as Para meets, such as the Para World Championships and the Paralympic Games, were not taken into consideration, as per ITTF guidelines.
Petrissa Solja is a German table tennis player. Solja won silver in the team event in the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. She reached her highest world ranking of thirteenth in March 2016.
