Tunisia first participated at the Olympic Games in 1960, and has sent athletes to compete in every Summer Olympic Games except when they participated in the American-led boycott of the 1980 Summer Olympics.
Jade Louise Jones is a Welsh taekwondo athlete. She is the 2012 and 2016 Olympic gold medallist in the women's 57 kg category, and the 2019 World champion, 2016, 2018 and 2021 European champion and both 2015 European Games and 2023 European Games champion at the same weight, the only double gold medalist at her weight in the history of those Games. In 2012, she won Britain's first taekwondo Olympic gold medal. Jones was at the time the reigning Youth Olympic champion in the girls' 55 kg category, winning gold for Great Britain in 2010.
Taekwondo competitions at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London was held from 8 August to 11 August at the ExCeL London. Competition was held in eight weight categories; four for men, and four for women.
Juana Wangsa Putri is an Indonesian taekwondo practitioner, who competed in the women's flyweight category. She claimed a silver medal in the 51 kg category at the 2002 Asian Taekwondo Championships in Amman, Jordan, earned bronze medals at two consecutive Asian Games, and represented Indonesia in two editions of the Olympic Games.
Panipak "Tennis" Wongpattanakit is a Thai taekwondo athlete. A two-time Olympic champion, she is currently the top-ranked athlete in the women's 49 kg.
Kimia Alizadeh Zonouzi is an Iranian-born Bulgarian taekwondo athlete, representing Bulgaria. Alizadeh won a bronze medal in the taekwondo 57 kg weight class at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro by defeating Swedish athlete Nikita Glasnović. This made her the first Iranian woman to win a medal at a Summer Olympics. She also won a gold medal in the women's 63-kg class at the Nanjing 2014 Youth Olympic Games. She beat London 2012 and Rio de Janeiro 2016 gold medallist Jade Jones at the 2015 World Championship to win a bronze medal. She also won a silver medal two years later at the 2017 World Taekwondo Championships.
Tijana Bogdanović is a Serbian taekwondo athlete.
Nahid Kiani is an Iranian taekwondo athlete. She is the first Iranian woman to win a silver medal at the Olympics in the 2024 Summer Olympics, Taekwondo Women's 57 kg event, also she won the gold medal in the women's bantamweight event at the 2023 World Taekwondo Championships.
Nour Abdelsalam is an Egyptian taekwondo practitioner. She is a gold medalist in the women's 49 kg event at the Islamic Solidarity Games, the African Games and several editions of the African Taekwondo Championships. She also represented Egypt at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan.
Oumaima El-Bouchti is a Moroccan taekwondo practitioner. She is a gold medalist four time at the African Taekwondo Championships. She represented Morocco at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, and 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.
Kyriaki Kouttouki is a Cypriot taekwondo practitioner. She won the silver medal in the women's 46 kg event at the 2017 Summer Universiade held in Taipei, Taiwan.
Andrea Ramírez is a Colombian taekwondo practitioner. She won one of the bronze medals in the women's finweight event at the 2017 World Taekwondo Championships held in Muju, South Korea.
Victoria Stambaugh is a Puerto Rican taekwondo practitioner. She is a two-time medalist at the Central American and Caribbean Games.
Lena Stojković is a Croatian taekwondo practitioner. She is a two-time world champion, a three-time European champion and an Olympic bronze medalist.
Adriana Cerezo Iglesias is a Spanish taekwondo athlete who won the silver medal in the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo.
Avishag Semberg is an Israeli Olympic taekwondo athlete. She is an Olympic bronze medalist for Israel at the 2020 Summer Olympics in the women's 49 kg competition. She won Israel's all-time tenth Olympic medal, and is the youngest Israeli to receive an Olympic medal, at the age of 19. Semberg represented Israel at the 2024 Paris Olympics in the women's taekwondo -49 kg category.
Aruna Tanwar is an Indian Para Taekwondo athlete and two time Olympian from Haryana. She is currently ranked World No.4 in the W-49 kg | K43 | and World No. 30 in the W-49 kg | K44 event category of World Para Taekwondo Events. She qualified to represent India at the 2024 Summer Paralympics at Paris, her second Olympics.
Sarah Chaâri is a Belgian taekwondo practitioner from Belgium. She won the bronze medal at the 2024 Summer Olympic and gold medal in the women's lightweight event at the 2022 World Taekwondo Championships in Guadalajara, Mexico and became Belgium's first female World Taekwondo champion. In doing so, Chaâri also became the first-ever Taekwondo fighter to win golds at both Junior and Senior World Championships in the same year. Chaâri, who moved up to the senior division in 2022, had previously won gold in the 2022 World Taekwondo Junior Championships in Sofia in August.
Merve Dinçel Kavurat, also known as Merve Kavurat, is a Turkish taekwondo athlete. She won the gold medal in the women's flyweight event at the 2023 World Taekwondo Championships.
Mobina Nematzadeh is an Iranian Taekwondo athlete. She won a bronze medal at the 2022 Asian Games in the women's 49 kg weight class. Nematzadeh won the Olympic quota in the Asian Olympic Qualification Tournament In Tai'an, China. She also won one of the Bronze medals in the 49 kg event at the 2024 Summer Olympics held in Paris, France.
