Taftanaz Nahiyah (Arabic : ناحية تفتناز) is a Syrian Nahiyah (Subdistrict) located in Idlib District in Idlib. According to the Syria Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), Taftanaz Nahiyah had a population of 24145 in the 2004 census. [1]
A nāḥiyah, or nahia, is a regional or local type of administrative division that usually consists of a number of villages or sometimes smaller towns.
