Tal Slutzker (born March 8, 1986) is an Israeli painter and writer. [1] [2]

Biography

Tal Slutzker was born in Ra'anana to Nachum and Pola. During childhood he painted and played the violin. From 1995 to 2000 he studied drawing and painting of the Russian academic tradition with painter Zakhar Sherman. [3] [4] At age 14 he left high school to study at the Jerusalem Studio School. [5] . He also studied painting with Antonio Lopez Garcia, Jan Rauchwerger, and Uzi Katzav. [1]

Slutzker is also a poet who published his work in several books and in the journal Achshav. [6]

Avner Ben-Gal is an international painter and artist, working mainly from Tel Aviv, Israel. His works depict various intense, often neglected locations such as agricultural fields, prisons and smoky interiors, whereby theatrical scenes play out. The scenes present ghostly, rough hewn and often low life figures that are bare and hardened. The parallel between Ben-Gal's raw way of painting and his tough, ambiguous subject matter allows a unique intensity within his paintings.

Pinhas Golan was an Israeli artist and sculptor. Golan was a Holocaust survivor and his work focused on the subject.

Shy Abady is an Israeli artist. Over the years, Abady created "biographical" series, which followed individual figures. Other series addressed historical-political themes .In some other series,, Abady examines the language of art itself and the aesthetic influences and relationships between Western-Christian art and Jewish-Israeli art. Abady's work has been shown in solo and group exhibitions in many galleries and museums in Israel and abroad.

Emmanuil Lipkind (1928–2007) was a Russian-Israeli painter. He was born in Kazan, Russia and lived in Moscow beginning in 1964. In 1994, he moved with his wife to Israel. He was a member of the International Association of Art (UNESCO) and of the Russian Artist Union. Many of his works are kept in Russian museums, in the Yad va Shem Memorial in Israel as well as in private collections. Lipkind worked in Latvia, former Yugoslavia, Middle Asian Countries and Israel.
