Tamiz Uddin Rizvi (died 25 April 2022) was a Bangladeshi freedom fighter ( deputy commander mujib bahini ) and film director & Producer. He directed many films.

Biography

Rizvi took part in the Liberation War of Bangladesh. [2] He was the director of Ashirbad. Anju Ghosh made her career debut with that film. [3] [4] This film is selected for preservation in Bangladesh Film Archive. [5]

Rizvi was the director of Asha Valobasa too. In this film Misha Sawdagar acted in negative role for the first time in his career. [6] [7] [8] This film is also selected for preservation in Bangladesh Film Archive. [9]

Besides these films Rizvi also directed films like Ashirbad, Chhoto Ma, Jeler Meye, Jiddi, Birodh, Tumi Amar, Asha Valobash and Jobabdihi. These films are selected for preservation in Bangladesh Film Archive too. [10] [11] [12] His last direction Jobabdihi was released in 1999. [13]

Dildar was a Bangladeshi actor from the Chandpur district. He debuted in Bengali cinema in 1975 in the film Keno Amon Hoy. He was awarded Best Actor in a Comedy Role in 28th Bangladesh National Film Awards in 2003 for his role in the film Tumi Sudhu Aamar.

Mahbub Ahmed Sadek was a Bangladeshi film actor. He also appeared in television dramas and theatre. He won Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Actor in Negative Role for the film Ekti Cinemar Golpo (2018).
