Tammy Cantoni (born 25 August 1972) is an Australian semi-professional pool and snooker player. [1] She won the National championships in women's divisions in snooker (2004) and nine-ball (8 times from 1995 to 2009). She was the runner-up in the 2009 open (mixed-gender) division of the Australian Nine-ball Championship and in 2010 was listed 56th in the World Pool Billiard Association women rankings. [2]
Cantoni, who began playing pool at age 8, began tournament competition at age 19, and won the first local tournament she ever entered. She went on to win her first attempt at a national title, at age 22, in 1995. She was ranked the 13th top woman player in the world by the World Pool-Billiard Association in 2000. Cantoni has competed in some events classified as professional or open-to-professionals, such as WBA championships, and others classified as amateur, including those sanctioned by the IBSF. [3] The VNEA classified her as a professional as early as 2001, if not earlier but dropped her from their pro list in 2004.
Cantoni won numerous regional womens-division titles, and has often represented her home country internationally. She is a three-time New South Wales state eight-ball champion (1995, 1998, 1999); NSW nine-ball champion (1999); seven-time participant in the WPA World Nine-ball Championship as a representative of Australia (1995–2000, 2004); representative for Australia at the 2001 World Games; eight-time Trans-Tasman Cup representative on Team Australia (1995, 1996, 1997, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004); five-time VNEA International Championship representative on Team Australia (1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000); Amarda eight-ball champion (1993, 1995, 1997), Lord Mayor's Cup winner (1998, 1999), Christmas Shield winner (1996, 1997, 2000); 2000 winner of the Australia Day Championship (eight-ball), Millennium Cup (snooker), Easter Cup (eight-ball), and Oceania Championship (eight-ball); and 2001 Oceania Nine-ball Champion.

Karen Corr is a Northern Irish professional pool and former snooker and English billiards player. She was inducted in the BCA Hall of Fame in 2012.
Quinten Hann is an Australian former professional pool and snooker player. He was the 1999 WEPF World Eight-ball Champion and the 1994 IBSF World Under-21 Snooker Champion. His highest snooker break was a 141 which he made at the 1997 Grand Prix tournament. In February 2006, he was banned from pro snooker for eight years for match-fixing at the 2005 China Open, shortly before which he had resigned his membership of the World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association (WPBSA).

Hofstätter is a two-time Hall of Fame inductee being voted into both the Women's Professional Billiard Association and Billiard Congress of America Hall of Fames in the Greatest Players Category. Hofstätter was the Austrian Sportswoman of the Year for Carinthia in 1993. Hofstätter played on the WPBA Tour until her retirement, doing so from 1993 onward.
Jeanette Lee is an American professional pool player. She was nicknamed the Black Widow by her friends because, in spite of her sweet demeanor, she would "eat people alive" when she got to a pool table and always wear black when playing pool.

Michaela Tabb is a Scottish snooker and pool referee. She established significant milestones for female officials in professional cue sports, beginning in pool, where she officiated at top tournaments such as the WPA World Nine-ball Championship and the Mosconi Cup. She qualified in 2001 to referee on the World Snooker Tour and was the sport's highest profile female referee for the next 14 years. She became the first woman to officiate at a professional ranking snooker tournament at the 2002 Welsh Open, and the first woman to referee a ranking tournament final at the 2007 Welsh Open. As of 2022, she is the only woman to have refereed the World Snooker Championship final, which she did twice, in 2009 and 2012.

Oliver Ortmann is a German professional pool player from Gelsenkirchen. Ortmann is a three-time world champion, winning the 1995 WPA World Nine-ball Championship and the 2007 and 2010 World Straight Pool Championship. Ortmann became the second player to win three WPA world championships. With fourteen wins, he the second most successful player at the European Pool Championships. Ortmann is also the second most successful player on the Euro Tour, winning fourteen events. Ortmann was the first non-American player to win the BCA U.S. Open Straight Pool Championship, in 1989.

Michael Massey, professionally known as Mike Massey, is an American professional pool player From 1989 to 1991 he served as a contributing editor of The Snap Magazine. Massey was born in Loudon, Tennessee, and for several years lived in Chattanooga, Tennessee, where he owned a pool hall. He has the nickname of "Tennessee Tarzan", but he now lives in Midway, Utah.
Shawn Budd, is a professional snooker and pool player that has won major snooker and pool tournaments in Australia, New Zealand, England and America. He is the only Australian snooker player ever to win the Australian Open Snooker, Australian National Snooker, Australian 9 Ball and 8 Ball titles. Also he has won the Oceania Snooker championships and was runner up in the Oceania Billiards Championship in the same year. In 2002 he was a quarter finalist in the IBSF World Billiards Championships. In 1994 he won the Valley National Open 8-ball tournament in Las Vegas and in 2001 he won the Masters 8-ball event. Maryann McConnell is a Canadian snooker and pool player. She was runner-up in the 1984 Professional World Women's Snooker Championship, and has won numerous pool tournaments in Canada.
