Syed Tanveer Hussain Naqvi is a retired three-star general of Pakistan Army. A close aide of Pervez Musharraf, he was the former head of the National Reconstruction Bureau of Pakistan. [1]

Tanveer Fatima (B.A) was a 2009 Pakistani television drama serial that aired on Geo TV. The serial produced by Hassan Zia and written by Syed Nabeel. The first 72 episodes were directed by Naved Jaffrey and the latter 244 episodes were directed by Syed Nabeel, totalling 316 episodes. Among the cast were Samina Ahmad, Nayyar Ejaz, Shabbir Jan, Humaima Malik, Shehnaz Pervaiz, Danish Nawaz and Yasir Nawaz.

Mamnoon Hussain was a Pakistani politician and industrialist who served as the 12th president of Pakistan from 2013 to 2018. He was first appointed Governor of Sindh in June 1999 by President Rafiq Tarar; but was removed from the post in October 1999 due to the 1999 military coup d'état. Hussain was then nominated for the presidency by the PMLN in July 2013 and was elected through an indirect presidential election. Hussain took over the presidency after an oath administered by the Chief Justice of Pakistan on 9 September 2013.

The Ijtihadi family is sub-branch of the Naqvis#Naqvis of Darul Ijtihad Jais, Nasirabad and Parshadepur Raebareli. The family uses last name "Naqvi" to denote that they are descendants of the Islamic prophet Muhammad through the lineage of the Imam Ali al-Naqi.
