Tapan Bagchi (born 23 October 1968) is a Bangladeshi poet, rhyme composer, researcher, and journalist. He is a major poet of his times in the Bengali language. He won Bangla Academy Literary Award 2023 for his contribution in the folklore. [1] [2] [3]

Abdul Gaffar Choudhury was a Bangladeshi-born British writer, journalist, columnist, political analyst and poet. He wrote the lyrics to "Amar Bhaier Rokte Rangano", a widely celebrated song commemorating the Bengali Language Movement. He was awarded Bangla Academy Literary Award in 1967, Ekushey Padak in 1983, and Independence Day Award in 2009.

He was awarded the Bangla Academy Award in 1961, merely a year after its inception. He was also honoured by the People's Republic of Bangladesh with the Ekushey Padak in 1978, only a couple of years after this State honor was introduced.
