Audiovent is an American alternative rock band from Calabasas, California. Initially forming as "Vent" in the early 1990s, the band changed their name to Audiovent upon signing with Atlantic Records in 2001. The band released their one and only album on a major record label, Dirty Sexy Knights in Paris, in 2002. Two singles were released to rock radio and charted with moderate success - "The Energy" and "Looking Down". The band began work on a second album in 2003, demoing over 19 tracks over the course of the year, but disbanded in mid-2004 before the album could be formally recorded, due to creative differences between band members.
David Bickler is an American singer, best known as the lead singer for the rock band Survivor from 1978 until 1983, most notably on the #1 U.S. hit "Eye of the Tiger". In addition to his wide vocal range, his trademark look included a beret. Bickler would go on to provide the vocals in advertisements, including Bud Light's "Real Men of Genius" TV and radio commercials.

Jimmy Wayne Jamison was an American singer. Best known as Jimi Jamison, he earned recognition as the frontman for the rock bands Target, Cobra, and Survivor from 1984 to 1989, performing the songs "Burning Heart" from the film Rocky IV, "The Moment of Truth" from The Karate Kid, along with other top-20 Survivor hits "I Can't Hold Back", "High On You", "The Search Is Over" and "Is This Love". He officially rejoined Survivor in 2000, remaining in the group until 2006, only to rejoin again in 2011. Acclaimed for his vocal abilities, Jamison is also known for having co-written and performed the theme song "I'm Always Here" for the 1990s TV series Baywatch.

"Screaming in the Night" is a power ballad by Swiss hard rock band Krokus. The song was released as the second single from the band's seventh studio album Headhunter. The single was originally released in 1983 in 7" and 12" formats with a special edition 12" single being released in 1986 to promote the live album Alive and Screamin'. The song peaked at #21 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart in July 1983 and remained on the chart for 12 weeks. At the time of its release, "Screaming in the Night" was the band's biggest hit to date. The song remains one of the band's most popular and still receives airplay on American classic rock radio stations.

Cobra was a Swiss-American hard rock band from Memphis, Tennessee, active in the early 1980s. Having formed in 1982, the band released an album the following year that led to tours supporting acts like Quiet Riot and Nazareth. They are perhaps best known for several musicians who later joined more prominent bands, including future Survivor singer Jimi Jamison and Krokus guitarist Mandy Meyer. Cobra went their separate ways in 1984.
When Love Comes Down is the first solo studio album from the former Survivor lead singer Jimi Jamison released on July 9, 1991 on Scotti Brothers and Top Notch Records. It featured the singles "Taste of Love", "Rock Hard" and the album's title track. The album was anticipated to perform better than Survivor's Too Hot to Sleep but only managed marginal success, featuring a couple singles that appeared in movies and TV series soundtracks.
Empires is the second solo album from American rock singer-songwriter Jimi Jamison, released under the name Jimi Jamison's Survivor on October 17, 1999 for Scotti Brothers, was distributed in Germany by Soulfood Music and produced by Klay Shroedel.
First Strike is the debut and sole studio album released by Swiss-American hard rock band Cobra. Originally released in 1983 by Epic Records, the record was produced by Tom Allom and remastered in 2008 by Rock Candy. The album in the British music magazine Kerrang! took first place in the import charts. The single "Blood on Your Money" received MTV airplay, while "Looking at You" and "Travelin' Man" received promotion at the Memphis TV Club.
