Teal Grindle (born 15 February 2000) is a British artistic gymnast. [1] She was part of the silver medal winning junior team at the 2014 European Junior Championships in Sofia, Bulgaria. [2]

Junior career

2013

In January, Grindle competed at the Australian Youth Olympic Festival in Sydney. She was part of the silver medal winning team, she contributed scores on three apparatuses, on the vault Grindle scored 13.600, 12.266 on the uneven bars and 13.933 on the balance beam. [3] She also won the all-around silver medal behind teammate Tyesha Mattis with a final score of 54.065 [4] and became the balance beam champion with a score of 14.500. [4]

In March, Grindle competed at the British Espoir Championships. She won the silver medal on uneven bars with a score of 12.850, [5] the gold on the balance beam with 13.900 [6] and shared first place with Catherine Lyons on the floor exercise with 13.900. [7]

2014

In March Grindle competed at the British Championships, her first year as a junior. She won the silver medal in the all-around competition behind Amy Tinkler. She scored 13.900 on the vault, 13.35 on the uneven bars, 13.800 on the balance beam and 13.350 on the floor exercise for a total on 54.400. [8] She was fourth in the vault final scoring 13.700 for her first vault and 13.250 for her second for an averaged total of 13.475. [9] Grindle won the bronze medal on the uneven bars with a score of 13.550 [10] a gold medal on the balance beam with a score of 14.400 [11] and a second bronze on the floor exercise with a score of 13.450. Lee prefers using her Chinese name, Peng Peng, when doing gymnastics and she claims that it makes her feel like "someone completely different."

Rebecca Tunney is a retired British artistic gymnast who competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics.

Ruby Esther Harrold is a British artistic gymnast who was a member of the British Olympic team for the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Harrold was also a reserve athlete for the 2012 Summer Olympics team. She was a member of the British team that won the bronze medal in the team final at the 2015 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships. Following her retirement from elite gymnastics after the 2016 Summer Olympics, Harrold became a member of the LSU Tigers gymnastics team, having received a full athletic scholarship to attend Louisiana State University, beginning Fall of 2016.

Brenna Dowell is a former American artistic gymnast. She was a member of the gold medal-winning U.S. team at the 2015 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships. A prevalent gymnast on the National scene throughout the 2010s, Dowell has combined elite and collegiate gymnastics; she deferred her sophomore season with the Oklahoma Sooners in order to make a bid for the 2016 Summer Olympics team.

Georgia Godwin is an Australian artistic gymnast. She is the 2022 Commonwealth Games all-around and vault champion and the team, uneven bars and balance beam silver-medalist. She is also the 2018 Commonwealth Games all-around silver medalist and the team and uneven bars bronze medalist. She represented Australia at the 2020 Summer Olympics and was the third reserve for the all-around final. She is also a two-time World Cup silver medalist.
