TEAM* [2] is an American indie rock band from Dallas, Texas, formed by sole members Caleb Turman and Rico Andradi in May 2013. [3] In August 2013, The band released "Am I Alive", with a line-up consisting of Caleb Turman, Rico Andradi, Bryan Donahue, and Jay Vilardi. [4] The band has independently released a self-titled EP [5] through Andradi's label (Field Day Records) worldwide in December 2013. In October 2014, they released their debut album, Good Morning, Bad Day, through Nashville record label South By Sea.

History

Formation and self titled EP

TEAM* was formed by Caleb Turman and Rico Andradi. Caleb is a founding member, and Rico a touring member, of the band Forever the Sickest Kids. [6] Jay Vilardi and Bryan Donahue played with Caleb and Rico on tour for the first year and contributed on the first album. [7] In August 2013, the band released their new song, "Human War Machine". [8] In December 2013, the band was featured as direct support on the sold out Third Eye Blind tour, [9] and released their self-titled EP worldwide. [10] The album was pressed on a limited edition 12" vinyl and released in 2013 via Andradi's label, Field Day Records. [11]

Record label and release of Good Morning, Bad Day (2014–present)

In October 2014, the band re-released their debut album, Good Morning, Bad Day, through South By Sea. [12] The album was produced by Will Pugh of the band Cartel. [13] [14] In support of the album, the band shared the stage with Barcelona on October 14, 2014. [15] They released their music video in September 2014 for their single "I Like It". [16] The band was featured as support on the Chroma Ten Year Anniversary Tour with the band Cartel. [17] Their music video for "Just Like You (When You Turn Out The Lights)" [18] and a live acoustic video of "Alone in My Room", [19] were released in April 2015.

The group was featured on the MTV television series Band in a Bubble in 2007 as part of an experiment where they were given 20 days to write and record a full album. <i>Chroma</i> (album) 2005 studio album by Cartel

Chroma is the debut studio album by the American rock band Cartel. Formed in mid-2003, they self-released an EP the following year. Shortly afterwards founding guitarist Andy Lee left the band and was replaced by Nic Hudson. Following a performance at a music conference in Atlanta, the band signed to The Militia Group. With songs planned out, the band went to record with producers Zack Odom and Kenneth Mount. Recording took place at Treesound Studios in Atlanta in May and June 2005. Chroma released through The Militia Group in September 2005. The album sold 3,000 copies in its first week and charted at number 140 on the Billboard 200 chart. Chroma is the only full-length Cartel album to feature bassist Ryan Roberts, who departed the band in 2006.

Universal Motown Records was later shut down in 2011 and the band was left unsigned for over a year until signing to Fearless Records in late 2012. The band released its third studio album, J.A.C.K., on June 25, 2013. In an Alternative Press article, the band was placed number one underground band of the "22 Best Underground Bands".

Artist vs. Poet was an American power pop band from Fort Worth, Texas, United States, formed in late 2007 by Jason Dean, Craig Calloway, Jeff Olsen, Patrick Rigden, Joe Kirkland, Joe Westbrook, and Tarcy Thomason. After many changes in the band, Artist vs Poet is made up of Joe Kirkland, on vocals, guitar and keyboards, and Jason Dean, on bass and drums. Kirkland was also a contestant in the third season of the American NBC reality show The Voice.

This Century was an American pop rock band from Phoenix, Arizona, United States. The band consisted of members Joel Kanitz, Ryan Gose, Alex Silverman, and Sean Silverman. In February 2014, Alex Silverman announced his departure from the group. In May 2015, the band announced that following the release of their third album Soul Sucker, they would be playing farewell shows and retiring the band so members could "pursue each of our passions and musical projects". Forever the Sickest Kids is the eponymous second studio album by American pop punk band Forever the Sickest Kids, released on March 1, 2011. It is their last release through Universal Motown Records, and also last to feature members Kent Garrison and Marc Stewart. Following the release of their 2009 EP The Weekend: Friday, the band worked on material for what was originally a continuation of the EP but instead wrote more songs than intended, and scrapped the idea to work on a second full-length record. The album received mixed reviews from critics who commended the band's attempt at maturity with diverse musicianship and catchability but found it inconsistent. Forever the Sickest Kids debuted at number 33 on the Billboard 200 and spawned three singles: "Keep On Bringing Me Down", "I Guess You Can Say Things Are Getting Pretty Serious" and "Summer Song".
