Team EJP is an American water, stormwater, and wastewater company founded in Gardiner, Maine in 1955. [3]
Team EJP was the first waterworks distributor north of Massachusetts and started with water-main tapping and underground boring. [1] For the first five decades of its existence, EJP operated out of an old farmhouse on Central Street in Gardiner, Maine. [3] Founder and CEO Everett J. Prescott expanded the company to New Hampshire and Vermont in 1970 before his son Peter E. Prescott took over as CEO in 1978 and launched Team NCT (New Concept Tools) and Team QWP (Quality Water Products). [1] Under Everett J Prescott's leadership was the first gas-powered ditch pump and the first truck with a crane. [3] Team PEP Transportation was launched in 1980, and by 1997 the company had expanded into Indiana, Ohio, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and New York. In 2001 Team EJP purchased Red Hed Supply & Manufacturing and opened a new location in Vermont. [1] Steven E. Prescott took over as CEO in 2003 and launched the University of Prescott in 2006, offering waterworks apprenticeships. The company founded Team PPF (Plastic Pipe Fabrication) in 2008. [1]

Shaw's and Star Market are two American supermarket chains under united management based in West Bridgewater, Massachusetts, employing about 30,000 associates in 150 total stores; 129 stores are operated under the Shaw's banner in Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont, while Star Market operates 21 stores in Massachusetts, most of which are in or near Boston. Until 2010, Shaw's operated stores in all six New England states, and as of 2021 Shaw's remained the only supermarket chain with stores in five of the six, after it sold its Connecticut operations. In the United States, the first full week of September is designated National Blood Donation Week. Established in 2016, the week United States is to hold individual state blood donation days. This serves to assist blood banks all over the country to keep their shelves full and to raise awareness of the continual need to donate blood and blood products. September 4th of the week holds most of the states' blood donation days, and is known as National Blood Donation Day.
National Blood Donation Day comes each year on September 4. It is an observance during National Blood Donation Week and campaign that highlights the need for blood. Multiple states throughout the United States have their state blood donation day on this same day uniting the country in its effort to keep blood banks and hospitals stocked.
