Team Skyline is a professional men's cycling team based in the United States. The team started competing in 2013 as an amateur team, before starting competition in elite road bicycle racing events as a UCI Continental team in 2019. [1] As of 2023, Team Skyline is one of America's longest running continental programs. [2]

Contents

The team supports the non-profit, Winning the Race with Diabetes and promotes its mission and vision to inspire, teach, and demonstrate how to fully manage Type 1 Diabetes, thereby reducing its long-term health risks through a highly active and athletically competitive lifestyle.

Team roster

The goal for Team Skyline in 2023 is to support primarily North American talent by ensuring these riders have access to the biggest races on the continent and to opportunities to experience European racing and cycling culture. [3]

The 16th running of the Omloop Het Nieuwsblad women's race in Belgium was held on 27 February 2021. Widely regarded as the start of the Classics season, it was a 1.Pro event on the women's international calendar. The race followed a similar route to that of the men's race, but was shorter and more straightforward at only 124.4 kilometres (77.3 mi), starting in Ghent and finishing in Ninove. For the first time, the women's race finished an hour after the men's race, allowing for the final hour to be broadcast live on television.

The tenth edition of the Gent–Wevelgem's women's race was held on Sunday 28 March 2021. It was the fourth event of the 2021 UCI Women's World Tour and was won by Marianne Vos in a sprint.

The 2022 Maryland Cycling Classic was the first edition of the Maryland Cycling Classic. It was held on 4 September 2022 as part of the 2022 UCI ProSeries calendar.

This article details the qualifying phase for cycling at the 2024 Summer Olympics. A total of 514 cyclists, with an equal distribution between men and women, will compete in twenty-two medal events across five disciplines at these Games.
