Teater Tribunalen (commonly known as Tribunalen) is a popular independent Swedish theatre group in Stockholm.

The theatre group was created in 1995 by a group of students from the Swedish National Academy of Mime and Acting ("Scenskolan") in Malmö and by students from the Swedish Institute of Dramatic Art (Dramatiska Institutet) in Stockholm.

Teater Tribunalen is an outspoken political theatre group interested in influencing the society by challenging politic power, the government and nationally-debated issues with their work.

In the spring of 2012, Ellen Nyman will direct “A performance of Swedish Arms Exports”( En föreställning om svensk vapenexport) at Teater Tribunalen. The goal is to initiate a national referendum on Swedish arms export. [1] [2]

Bollhuset, also called Stora Bollhuset, Bollhusteatern, and Gamla Bollhuset at various times, was the name of the first theater in Stockholm, Sweden; it was the first Swedish theater and the first real theater building in the whole of Scandinavia. It was built in 1627 for ball sports and used in this way for forty years. The name Lejonkulan, however, was, in fact, the name of a different building, which was also used by the same theater in the 17th century.

Ellen Nyman is a Swedish actress, performance artist and theatre director.

Mick Gordon is a Northern Irish writer, film and theatre director. Currently he is Guest Lecturer, MA Creative Writing, Queens University Belfast where he is also a PhD candidate - Translating Artificial Intelligence into Theatre.

Frida Karolina Röhl, is a Swedish actress and director. And since 2004 the artistic director for Teater Tribunalen in Stockholm. Röhl is educated at Teaterhögskolan in Malmö and she has become a known name also as a director. She also is a teacher at Stockholms dramatiska högskola, and from March 2014 she is the boss at Folkteatern in Gothenburg.

RATS Theatre – Research in Arts and Technology in Society is established in 2008 by Rebecca Örtman. It is known for creating artistic digital productions on the web, mobile and public spaces as a tool of inspiration and a platform for dialogue between research and public. RATS Theatre is today part of Stockholm University. Its productions were met successfully in Sweden and internationally.
