Ted Jarrard (15 April 1922 - 25 November 2010) was an Australian rules footballer in the Victorian Football League (VFL).

Jarrard joined North Melbourne in 1944. He was a member of the 1950 North Melbourne Grand Final side. He retired in 1953. In 2001 Jarrad was named on the half back flank in the North Melbourne Team of the Century.

Jarrard was captain / coach of Camberwell Football Club in 1954. [2]

He later had stints at Fitzroy Rovers and Jeparit.

Majak Daw is an Australian rules footballer who currently plays for the Melbourne Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). Daw and his family in Australia are refugees from the civil wars in Sudan. Daw became the first Sudanese Australian to be drafted to an AFL club when he was contracted to North Melbourne in the 2009 AFL Draft. Daw's drafting gained international attention; it was reported by the BBC and the Voice of America. He made his first appearance for North Melbourne in a NAB Cup match on 20 February 2011.

Jamie Macmillan Australian rules footballer

Jamie Macmillan is a former amateur Australian rules footballer who played for the North Melbourne Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He was taken with draft pick number 37 in the 2009 National Draft, and played the following year, in the 2010 AFL season. Macmillan attended Scotch College Melbourne where he also played First XI cricket and was a proficient batsman and keeper. Macmillan made his debut in Round 17, against Essendon. He played junior football for the Camberwell Sharks in the Yarra Junior Football League. Macmillan was delisted by North Melbourne at the end of the 2020 AFL season after a mass delisting by North Melbourne which saw 11 players cut from the team's list.

Dom Tyson

Dom Tyson is a professional Australian rules footballer playing for the North Melbourne Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). A midfielder, 1.86 metres tall and weighing 85 kilograms (187 lb), Tyson is capable of contributing as both an inside and outside midfielder. He was recognised as a talented footballer from a young age when he represented Victoria in the under 12 championships. Queries were raised over his versatility as a midfielder after he missed out on selection in the under 16 championships. Despite this, he was recruited by the Oakleigh Chargers in the TAC Cup as a bottom-aged player, and was named their captain the following year. In addition, he represented Vic Metro in the 2011 AFL Under 18 Championships, which earned him All-Australian honours. His improvement towards the end of his junior career saw him recruited by the Greater Western Sydney Giants with the third selection in the 2011 AFL draft. He made his AFL debut in the 2012 season and earned an AFL Rising Star nomination. After two years with Greater Western Sydney and playing in thirteen matches, he was traded to the Melbourne Football Club during the 2013 trade period.
