Teenage Wrist is an American rock band from Los Angeles, California.
The band was formed in 2014 by vocalist and bass guitarist Kamtin Mohager, lead guitarist and vocalist Marshall Gallagher, and drummer Anthony Salazar. Inspired by alternative rock and grunge music of the 1990s, the group wrote and recorded their debut extended play (EP), Dazed, released in 2015 on Pale Wave. [1] The following year, the band released Live at Noise Coalition before signing to Epitaph Records and releasing their debut studio album, Chrome Neon Jesus , in 2018. [2] With the inclusion of guitarist Chase Barham, the quartet toured as support for bands such as Thrice, Citizen, and Pianos Become the Teeth, as well as performing at festivals such as Reading & Leeds and Sound and Fury.
In 2019, the band released the three-track EP, Counting Flies. [3] After tours with Basement and Manchester Orchestra, Mohager announced that he had departed from the band in 2019 due to creative differences. [4] Barham left the group in 2020, leaving Teenage Wrist as a duo between Gallagher and Salazar. In August 2020, the band released their first single as a duo, "Silverspoon", and later released their sophomore studio album, Earth is a Black Hole , in February 2021. [5] In support of the album, the group toured with Movements, Badflower, and 311.
In 2023, the band released their third studio album, Still Love , and embarked on a headlining tour with support from Heavenward, Slow Joy, and Spiritual Cramp.

Kamtin Mohager is an American singer, songwriter, musician, record producer, and graphic designer born in San Jose, California. Raised in Hawaii, and later Colorado, Mohager began pursuing punk rock music in his teenage years. Later inspired by shoegaze and alternative rock bands from the 1990s, he formed the indie electronic project The Chain Gang of 1974. He has released five studio albums, White Guts (2010), Wayward Fire (2011), Daydream Forever (2014), Felt (2017), and Honey Moon Drips (2020). His 2014 single "Sleepwalking" gained popularity for featuring on the video game Grand Theft Auto V (2013) and its accompanying soundtrack.

Playing initially what Allmusic described as "post-psych progressive rock, spiced with occasional jazz accents and widespread twin-guitar harmonies," in 1973 they started shifting towards more straightforward hard rock stylings and, having released six studio albums, disbanded in 1982. In 2000 Epitaph reunited and several new releases followed, including two studio albums.
Felt is a studio album by the American musician Kamtin Mohager, released under his indietronica name, The Chain Gang of 1974. The fourth studio album by The Chain Gang of 1974, it was the second album released under a major label on June 23, 2017, by the Virgin Records subsidiary Caroline Records. The album, described by Mohager as the most "honest" album he has created, represents a change of the Chain Gang's sound to a more pop-centric approach, detailing the personal experiences of Mohager and "the feelings of [his] past". The album's sound is the result of Mohager being exposed to new sounds during his time writing songs outside of the Chain Gang, in the years following the successful Daydream Forever. The album was produced by Thom Powers of The Naked and Famous, and has a guest appearance by the band's lead singer, Alisa Xayalith. Powers befriended Mohager after years of touring together, and became involved in the production of Felt early on. The album's release was preceded by live performances by the Chain Gang and the release of three tracks from the album as singles and extended plays in 2016 and 2017. On release, the album was met with positive reviews.
