Tegan French (born 21 May 1983) is a former Australian rugby union player.
French was named in Australia's squad for a two-test series against New Zealand at the 2007 Laurie O'Reilly Cup. [1] [2] In her only test appearance for the Wallaroos, she intercepted a pass and scored a try to help her side lead 7–3 in the 25th minute of the first half. [3] [4]
The Laurie O'Reilly Cup is the trophy competed for by the women's rugby union teams of Australia and New Zealand. The two nations met annually between 1994 and 1998, with New Zealand winning all games, often by significant margins, as a result of which the series fell into abeyance, but was revived in 2007.
