Telecast is a Christian worship band. The band began in Spokane, Washington, with songwriter Josh White, guitarist Brian Ortize, Marquis Ashley and Nick Tibbetts. [1] Telecast released its debut album, The Beauty of Simplicity, on BEC Records in 2003, and followed it with Eternity is Now on the same label in 2005. In 2008 they released their third album, Quiet Revolution.

Original line-up

The band members that recorded The Beauty of Simplicity were Josh White (vocals, acoustic guitar), Marquis Ashley (bass guitar), Adam Breeden (guitars), Zach Hodges (keyboards), Brian Ortize (guitars, vocals), and Nick Tibbetts (drums).

Brian Ortize currently runs an academic training program called "the worship school" which he founded in 2013 and is also a recording artist in Nashville, TN releasing his debut album on BEC Recordings in 2017. Marquis Ashley is now the worship pastor at Fresh Life Church in Kalispell, Montana.

Josh White

Lead singer Josh White recorded a solo project on BEC Records, Achor, which was released in November 2010.

White also recorded several albums on the Deeper Well Gospel Collective label. These include albums with The Followers, Pilgrim, and as a solo artist. [2] One of these was The Followers self-titled album, released in 2009, featuring White with former members of Rock and Roll Worship Circus, Ruth, Esterlyn, and Starfield. [3] In November 2013, White released another solo album named Absolution, "a reworking of Telecast songs", on the label Deeper Well Gospel Collective. [4]

White founded a church in Portland, Oregon, called Door of Hope. He was previously a teaching pastor and lead worship pastor at Bridgetown Church in Portland. He is married to Darcy White, and they have two children, Henry and Hattie Star.

Big Tent Revival is a Christian rock band formed in Memphis, Tennessee, in 1991 by Steve Wiggins. They were signed to Ardent Records who had a distribution deal with Forefront Records. They disbanded in 2000 after having released five albums, had two releases after disbanding, and reformed in 2012 after a successful crowdfunding campaign for a new album. Marvin Lawrence Winans is an American pastor and gospel singer, and a member of the musical Winans family. He is also known for his recurring role in the hit show Tyler Perry's House of Payne.

You Make Me Brave: Live at the Civic marks the ninth album from Bethel Music, a worship group based out of Redding, California. The album was released through the group's imprint label, "Bethel Music", on April 21, 2014. The album was produced by Gabriel Wilson and Daniel MacKenzie, and executively produced by Brian Johnson and Joel Taylor.

Joshua Alexander White is an American Christian musician, worship leader, and pastor who primarily plays Christian pop and contemporary worship music. He has released two solo albums, since 2010. He is still the lead singer of the Christian rock band Telecast.

Brian Mark Johnson is an American contemporary worship musician and worship pastor. He is the president and co-founder of Bethel Music, as well as a member of its Artist Collective and is one-half of the husband-and-wife worship duo, Brian & Jenn Johnson. He is also a senior worship pastor at Bethel Church in Redding, California, and a Senior Overseer of WorshipU, an online school of worship under Bethel Music which he co-founded with Jenn Johnson.

The Peace Project is an album by Australian contemporary worship group Hillsong Worship and is the fifth Christmas-themed worship album from Hillsong Music, following We Have a Saviour (2012).
