Third Eye Blind is an American rock band formed in San Francisco, California, in 1993. Hüsker Dü was an American punk rock band formed in Mendota Heights, Minnesota, in 1979. Informally, a vanity label is a record label founded as a wholly or partially owned subsidiary of another, larger, and better established record label, where the subsidiary is controlled by a successful recording artist, designed to allow this artist to release music by other artists they admire. The parent label handles the production and distribution and funding of the vanity label, but the album is usually released with the vanity brand name prominent. Usually, the artist/head of the vanity label is signed to the parent label, and this artist's own recordings will be released under the vanity brand name. Creating a vanity label can be an attractive idea for the parent label, primarily as a "perk" to keep a successful artist on the label's roster happy and as a venue to bring fellow artists to the public's attention.
Enon was an indie rock band founded by John Schmersal, Rick Lee, and Steve Calhoon that was active from 1999 to 2011; for most of its history, however, Enon was a three-piece outfit composed of Schmersal, Toko Yasuda, and Matt Schulz. Maethelvin is an Electronic / Synthwave musician from Nantes, France, and member of the Valerie Collective. With inspiration from artists as Jan Hammer and Giorgio Moroder, Maethelvin has made electronic music since 2007 and plays live together with artists as College and Forgotten Illusions. Releasing singles since 2007 he released his debut album CS005 2015.
Franck Hueso, better known by his stage name Carpenter Brut, is a French darksynth artist from Poitiers, France. He has released three EPs, EP I (2012), EP II (2013) and EP III (2015) which were collected and released together as the album Trilogy (2015). He later released three additional studio albums, Leather Teeth (2018), Blood Machines OST (2020), and Leather Terror (2022) along with one live album, CarpenterBrutLive (2017). He has also contributed original music to a variety of soundtracks, both for film and video games.
