"Tell Me Why" is the debut single by Italian dance group Prezioso & Marvin. Released in April 1999, it became an international hit, reaching the top ten in Italy and other countries in Europe and America. It is one of the songs which popularized the Italo dance genre. [1]

Contents

The song was written by Diego Leoni, Paolo Sandrini, Giorgio Prezioso, Andrea Prezioso and Alessandro Moschini, and produced by the members of the group. It samples Mike Oldfield's 1982 song "Family Man".

With this song, Prezioso & Marvin participated in the 1999 edition of Italian summer music festival Festivalbar. It was included in their 2000 debut album Back to Life.

"Tell Me Why" was certified gold in Austria. [2]

With Giorgio Prezioso taking a hiatus in 2007 to move to his own project Giorgio Prezioso & Libex, Prezioso & Marvin became a duo. But Giorgio returned to the formation in 2009.
