Temirtas Zhussupov (born 15 January 1988) [1] is a Kazakh boxer. He competed at the 2021 AIBA World Boxing Championships, winning the gold medal in the minimumweight event. [2] Zhussupov was honored the Best Boxer of the Year by the Kazakhstan Boxing Federation in 2018. [3]

Patrick Gerard Barnes is an Irish former boxer who competed as an amateur from 2005 to 2016 and as a professional from 2016 to 2019. Almaty Arena is a multi-purpose indoor arena located in Almaty, Kazakhstan which was opened on 18 September 2016 and seats 12,000 spectators for ice hockey. Apart from hosting ice hockey matches, the arena is venue for boxing, figure skating, basketball, concerts, and other events. It is one of the venues to host the 2017 Winter Universiade. The arena is located in the north of punched Ryskulov Avenue, to the west from Momyshuly street in the Alatau District.

Kaushik won the gold medal at the Doha International Boxing Tournament, in his first international appearance. Two years later, Manish won gold at the 2017 National Boxing Games. Manish Kaushik later went to represent India in 2018 Commonwealth Games, winning the silver medal. He represented India in the lightweight division in the 2020 Summer Olympics. Manish hails from the village of Devsar in the Bhiwani district of Haryana. Manish Kaushik won abronze in the 63 kg category at World Championships.

Makhmud Sabyrkhan is a Kazakh boxer. He competed at the 2021 AIBA World Boxing Championships, winning the silver medal in the bantamweight event. Sabyrkan was also awarded a gold medal in the 2021 Boxam International Boxing Tournament in Spain, defeating Gabriel Escobar.

Alua Balkibekova is a Kazakhstani boxer. She participated at the 2014 AIBA Youth World Boxing Championships, being awarded the bronze medal in the women's flyweight event. In the same year, Balkibekova participated at the 2014 Summer Youth Olympics in the boxing competition, winning no medal. She also participated at the 2019 AIBA Women's World Boxing Championships in the light flyweight event, winning no medal. Balkibekova then participated at the 2022 IBA Women's World Boxing Championships, being awarded the silver medal in the minimumweight event. In the final match, she was defeated by Ayşe Çağırır.
