Teri Meri Jodi is a Pakistani television romantic comedy which aired on Geo Entertainment. First episode was aired on 22 December 2015. [1] [2] Serial is produced by Babar Javed in collaboration with Zee TV Production. It is a love story of a Gujrati girl Jiya and Punjabi man Kabeer.

The drama was scheduled to air on Zee Zindagi in India in October 2016, but following the aftermath of the 2016 Uri attack, the channel owner decided to ban Pakistani content on the channel so the serial was postponed. [3]

Saboor Ali is a Pakistani actress. The younger sister of actress Sajal Aly, she began her acting career with a family drama Mehmoodabad Ki Malkain (2011). She garnered recognition with a comic role in sitcom Mr. Shamim (2015). She continued playing supporting roles in several television series and made her film debut with a romantic-comedy Actor in Law (2016), for which she earned a Lux Style Award for Best Supporting Actress nomination. She has since played leading roles in dramas, such as Mere Khudaya (2018), Gul-o-Gulzar (2019) Fitrat (2020)for which she received a nomination for Lux Style Award for Best TV Actress and Mushkil (2022)and received critical acclaim as well as Hum Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role as a tomboy in Parizaad (2021).

Pakistani dramas, or Pakistani serials, are televised serials produced in Pakistan. Although most of the serials are produced in Urdu, an increasing number of them are produced in other Pakistani languages such as Sindhi, Pashto, Punjabi and Balochi. One of Pakistan's oldest television dramas is the Urdu serial Khuda Ki Basti, which aired in 1969. Pakistani dramas, like serials elsewhere, reflect the country's culture. According to Farooq Sulehria 1970s & 1980 are considered to be golden old days of Pakistani serials.

Diyar-e-Dil is a Pakistani television drama serial, that originally aired on Hum TV from 17 March 2015 to 27 October 2015, consisting of a total of 33 episodes. Diyar-e-Dil follows the lives of a dysfunctional family led by Agha Jaan and his grandchildren, Wali and Faarah. The story is told in a heavily serialized manner. It revolves around the lives of Wali and Faarah, who were forced to commit to each other for the cause of reuniting their family, that fell apart long ago because of Agha Jaan's eldest son Behroze, when he called off his long engagement to marry his late-love interest.

Dil Mohallay Ki Haveli is a Pakistani mystery thriller drama television series, directed by Amin Iqbal, written by Amna Mufti and first broadcast on Geo Entertainment in 2013. Retitled as Meri Talaash, it also aired in India on Zindagi channel from 17 July 2015 on Monday through Saturday nights.

Teri Berukhi is a 2013 Pakistani television drama serial directed by Mohsin Mirza, produced by A&B Entertainment and written by Seema Munaf. It starred Shahood Alvi, Savera Nadeem and Sumbul Iqbal in lead roles, and debuted on 19 April 2013 on Geo Entertainment, in a prime-slot on Fridays at 8:00 pm.
