Terje Krokstad (born 1 October 1956) is a former Norwegian biathlete

He hails from Krokstadøra in Snillfjord, and represented Krokstadøra IL. At the Winter Olympics he finished seventeenth in the 10 km sprint at the 1980 Winter Olympics, and eighteenth in the 10 km sprint at the 1984 Winter Olympics. [1] His best international result is a bronze medal in the 20 km from the 1982 World Championships.

Stage Dolls Norwegian band

Stage Dolls is a Norwegian hard rock band based in Trondheim, Norway. In 1982, Erlend Antonsen and Terje Storli played at local clubs in and around Trondheim. In need of a guitarist they called on Torstein Flakne, who by then had finished playing in The Kids. Throughout the summer and fall of 1982 the newly formed band started rehearsing and playing shows in the region. The trio took the name Stage Dolls in January 1983. The first album, titled Soldier's Gun, was released in late 1985, after a successful nationwide tour in Norway supporting the Norwegian band TNT.

Biathlon at the Winter Olympics

Biathlon debuted at the 1960 Winter Olympics in Squaw Valley with the men's 20 km individual event. At the 1968 Winter Olympics in Grenoble, the men's 4 × 7.5 km relay debuted, followed by the 10 km sprint event at the 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid, New York. Beginning at the 1992 Winter Olympics in Albertville, women's biathlon debuted with the 15 km individual, 3 × 7.5 km relay, and 7.5 km sprint. A pursuit race was included at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City. The top 60 finishers of the sprint race would qualify for the pursuit event. The sprint winner starts the race, followed by each successive biathlete at the same time interval he/she trailed the sprint winner in that event. At the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin, a mass start was introduced where the top 30 biathletes from the previous four events were allowed to start together for the competition.

Sambandet

Sambandet is a Norwegian rock group and the backing band of Åge Aleksandersen. Almost always referred to in that capacity they combined are known as Åge Aleksandersen & Sambandet, and together they won the 1980 Spellemannprisen for Ramp as best rock album. The group's membership has varied throughout the years. Some of the members has been Steinar Krokstad, Skjalg Raaen, Terje Tranaas and Gunnar Pedersen. They recorded their first album in 1977 titled Lirekassa. Their most known hit is "Lys og varme" from 1984. The group had roots from Prudence. Sambandet broke up after the Eldorado touring in 1987 but reunited in 2004.

Tarjei Bø Norwegian biathlete

Tarjei Bø is a Norwegian professional biathlete. Bø debuted in the Biathlon World Cup on 26 March 2009 in Khanty-Mansiysk, Russia, and won his first World Cup victory on 10 December 2010. In the 2010 Winter Olympics he earned his first gold medal in the 4 × 7.5 km biathlon relay. On 10 December 2010 he won the sprint race in Hochfilzen, earning his first world cup victory. The 1978–79 Biathlon World Cup was a multi-race tournament over a season of biathlon, organised by the UIPMB. The season started on 10 January 1979 in Jáchymov, Czechoslovakia, and ended on 8 April 1979 in Bardufoss, Norway. It was the second season of the Biathlon World Cup, and it was only held for men.

The 1980–81 Biathlon World Cup was a multi-race tournament over a season of biathlon, organised by the UIPMB. The season started on 15 January 1981 in Jáchymov, Czechoslovakia, and ended on 5 April 1981 in Hedenäset, Sweden. It was the fourth season of the Biathlon World Cup, and it was only held for men.

The 1983–84 Biathlon World Cup was a multi-race tournament over a season of biathlon, organised by the UIPMB. The season started on 6 January 1984 in Falun, Sweden, and ended on 11 March 1984 in Lygna, Norway. It was the seventh season of the Biathlon World Cup.

The men's 10 kilometre classical cross-country skiing competition at the 1992 Winter Olympics in Albertville, France, was held on Thursday 13 February at Les Saisies. Each skier started at half a minute intervals, skiing the entire 10 kilometre course. The Norwegian Terje Langli was the 1991 World champion. Men's 10 kilometre classical was not a part of the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary, Canada.
