Tex de Wit (born May 17, 1986 in Amsterdam) is a Dutch comedian, writer, stand-up comedian, actor, chess player and television presenter.
De Wit is the son of comic artist Peter de Wit. [1] In 2011, after studying journalism at the University of Amsterdam he discovered that stand-up comedy is his passion.
De Wit was featured in episodes of De Rijdende Rechter in 2012. In 2013 he audited for Comedytrain, for which he was immediately recruited. Since this he makes columns for the VARA-radio program Spijkers met koppen . In 2014 he was added to the writers team of the VPRO-program Zondag met Lubach . From the first season forward De Wit was writer for this show and beginning with season 4 he is also visible on camera as a "news reporter". Since 2022, he fulfills the same roles for De Avondshow met Arjen Lubach , which is the successor of Zondag met Lubach .
In the winter of 2015 De Wit participated with the NCRV-program De Slimste Mens , for which he entered the finale. De Wit is also a frequent guest at De Wereld Draait Door since 2016/2017, frequent jury member for the NCRV-program De Rijdende Rechter , and works for the comedy sketch program Klikbeet .
In 2019 and 2020 he presented, together with Jonathan van het Reve and Diederik Smit, the satirical sports program Makkelijk Scoren for the VPRO.
In 2010, De Wit obtained the FIDE Master (FM) title.
In 2011 he won the Wil Haggenburg tournament and became the best chess player at the Chess federation Groot-Amsterdam. [2]
In 2012 he won at the Kees Besselink c4 tournament , for which he only signed up the night before the tournament. [3]
Since the season of 2019-2020 De Wit plays in the Masterclass for the Kennemer Combinatie.

Willem Theodoor "Wim T." Schippers is a Dutch artist, comedian, television director, and voice actor. During the 1960s, he worked mostly as a visual artist, associated with the international Fluxus-movement. As a television writer, director, and actor he is responsible for some of the most notable and controversial shows on Dutch televisions from the 1960s to the 1990s, creating a number of lasting characters and enriching the language with terms and expressions first coined in his shows. In addition, he voiced the characters of Ernie and Kermit the Frog on Sesamstraat, the Dutch version of Sesame Street. For his shows, he has written over three hundred songs, and his reputation has changed from being Dutch television's "enfant terrible" to an acknowledged master in a variety of genres.

Frans Christiaan Frederiks, known by his stage name Lange Frans, is a Dutch rapper and television presenter. From 1997 to 2004 he was a member of the band D-Men. Between 1997 and 2009 he was part of the Lange Frans & Baas B duo before starting a solo career. Zondag met Lubach is a Dutch weekly satirical television programme that aired between 2014 and 2021, presented by Arjen Lubach and broadcast on NPO 3. Each week Lubach talked for half an hour about the news of the past week through various fragments from the media infographics and investigative journalism. The show's main scriptwriters were Tex de Wit and Pieter Jouke. The program was recorded in the main auditorium of the Theater Bellevue in Amsterdam.
