The Texas Tailgaters are the fourth Banana Ball team in the Banana Ball Championship League. [1] They were announced as the first regionally named Banana Ball team, on October 3, 2024, during the 2025 Banana Ball Draft. Although they use the Texas name they have yet to permanently move and still call Grayson Stadium home.
From home runs to honky-tonks, the Texas Tailgaters represent the Lone Star State with line dancing, parking lot grilling, and even have their very own country music band.
In their 2025 inaugural season, the Texas Tailgaters played in minor league and MLB stadiums across the country and headlined their own Texas tour across Frisco, San Antonio and Round Rock.
In 2026, the Tailgaters will headline in 12 locations. They will go back and play in Frisco, TX at Riders Field, Round Rock, TX at Dell Diamond and San Antonio, TX at Nelson W. Wolff Municipal Stadium. They will also headline in new locations including: Globe Life Field, Kyle Field, and Whataburger Field. Also in 2026, the Tailgaters will expand and play 2 of their headliners in Oklahoma.
