The All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam is an Indian regional political party with great influence in the state of Tamil Nadu and the union territory of Puducherry. It is a Dravidian party founded by the former chief minister of Tamil Nadu M. G. Ramachandran (M.G.R.) at Madurai on 17 October 1972 as a breakaway faction from the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam after M. Karunanidhi expelled him from the party for demanding an account as the party treasurer. The party is adhering to the policy of socialism and secularism based on the principles of C. N. Annadurai (Anna) collectively coined as Annaism by M.G.R. The party has won a seven-time majority in the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly and has emerged as the most successful political outfit in the state's history. It is currently the main opposition party in the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly.

Edappadi Karuppa Palaniswami,often referred to by his initials E.P.S.,is an Indian politician who is the former chief minister of Tamil Nadu and the current leader of opposition in the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly. He served as the 7th chief minister of Tamil Nadu,from 2017 to 2021. He has been the General Secretary of All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam since 28 March 2023. Tirupattur district,or Tirupathur district,is one of the 38 districts in the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu. The district was formed in 2019 by the division of Vellore district into three smaller districts. Its creation alongside Ranipet district was announced on 15 August 2019,and it was officially declared on 28 November 2019. The town of Tirupattur serves as the district headquarters.
Gingee K. S. Masthan is an Indian Tamil politician and one of the Ministers of Tamil Nadu from May 2021. He has been elected as a Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) in 2016 on behalf of DMK in the Gingee assembly constituency which is a part of the Villupuram district. He was re-elected to the same legislative assembly in the 2021 Tamil Nadu assembly election. Following this,on 7 May 2021,he was appointed a Minister of Minorities Welfare,Wakf Board,and Non Resident Tamil Welfare,Refugees &Evacuees.
