The Ada Project (TAP) is a website providing information on events, funding, positions and organisations supportive of women in technology. [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] It links to resources about the history of women in computing, aiding in the historical rediscovery of women's roles in the field. [1] [7]

Originally created at Yale University in 1994, the resource has been maintained by Carnegie Mellon University since 2005. [1]

The Tanzania Communications Regulatory Authority (TCRA), established by the TCRA Act No. 12 of 2003, is an independent Authority for the postal, broadcasting and electronic communications industries in the United Republic of Tanzania based in Mikocheni ward of Kinondoni District of Dar es Salaam Region. The International Colloquium on Structural Information and Communication Complexity (SIROCCO) is an annual academic conference with refereed presentations, in the field of Distributed Computing with a special focus on the interplay between structural knowledge and communication complexity in distributed/decentralized systems. The Colloquium was started in 1994 with the idea of promoting new and unconventional ideas in distributed computing and the one of the aims of the organizers is to provide a venue for informal discussions in a relaxed environment.
