The Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) is a professional body for architects primarily in the United Kingdom, but also internationally, founded for the advancement of architecture under its royal charter granted in 1837, three supplemental charters and a new charter granted in 1971.
Harper is an American publishing house, the flagship imprint of global publisher HarperCollins based in New York City. Founded in New York in 1817 by James Harper and his brother John, the company operated as J. & J. Harper until 1833, when it changed its name to Harper & Brothers, reflecting the inclusion of Joseph and Fletcher Harper. Harper began publishing Harper's Magazine, Harper's Weekly, and other periodicals beginning in the 1850s. From 1962 to 1990, the company was known as Harper & Row after its merger with Row, Peterson & Company. Harper & Row was purchased in 1987 by News Corporation and combined with William Collins, Sons, its United Kingdom counterpart, in 1990 to form HarperCollins, although the Harper name has been used in its place since 2007.

The American Radiator Building is an early skyscraper at 40 West 40th Street, just south of Bryant Park, in the Midtown Manhattan neighborhood of New York City. It was designed by Raymond Hood and André Fouilhoux in the Gothic and Art Deco styles for the American Radiator Company. The original section of the American Radiator Building, a 338 ft-tall (103 m), 23-story tower, was completed in 1924. A five-story annex, to the west of the original tower, was built from 1936 to 1937.

Andreas Constantine Papadakis FLS was a Cypriot-born British academic, entrepreneur and leading figure in the field of architectural publishing. He opened the Academy Bookshop in Holland Street, Kensington, in 1964 and moved into publishing as Academy Editions in 1968. From then until 1990, when he sold the company to VCH Germany he published more than a thousand titles mainly on art, architecture and the decorative arts. He was the first to publish many international architects in the Architectural Monographs series, which included Alvar Aalto, Michael Graves, Edwin Lutyens, John Soane, Terry Farrell, Richard Rogers, Mies van der Rohe, Hassan Fathy, Tadao Ando, Daniel Libeskind, etc.; and Victor Arwas's Art Deco, first published in 1980, remains the standard work on the subject.
Architectural Forum was an American magazine that covered the homebuilding industry and architecture. Started in Boston, Massachusetts, in 1892 as The Brickbuilder, it absorbed the magazine Architect's World in October 1938. Ownership of the Forum passed from Time, Inc., Urban America, Inc., Whitney Publications, and finally to Billboard Publications in 1972. After the purchase of the Forum by Billboard, Peter Blake, its chief editor, and much of the staff left to form the magazine Architecture Plus in 1973. The Forum ceased publication in 1974.
Jazz Journal is a British jazz magazine established in 1946 by Sinclair Traill (1904–1981). It was first published in London under the title Pick Up, which Traill founded as a locus for serious jazz criticism in Britain. In May 1948, Traill, using his own money, relaunched it as Jazz Journal. Traill, for the rest of his life, served as its editor-in-chief. Jazz Journal is Britain's longest published jazz magazine.
