The Anfield Wrap (TAW Player) is a collective of podcasts, radio shows, videocasts, live shows, magazine and website articles predominantly about Liverpool F.C. as well as the culture and music in the city of Liverpool.

Described by sports journalist Barry Glendenning as "essential listening for Liverpool fans", [1] and averaging over 200,000 weekly downloads in over 200 countries including Vatican City [2] they have sold out venues in Australia, USA, Scandinavia as well as Ireland, Hong Kong, Dubai and England and a stage at the Sound City Festival. As well as fan culture the shows have also contained interviews with Kevin Keegan [9] Jürgen Klopp, Kenny Dalglish, Brendan Rodgers, Rafa Benitez, Gerard Houllier, Rick Parry, Jamie Carragher, Kieran Maguire, Lucas Leiva and Xabi Alonso. As of July 2017 the shows had received a total of 28,000,000 downloads worldwide. [10]

The Anfield Wrap have made and appeared on video clips for ITV News, [11] Sky Sports. [12] and the Premier League World, [13] and BBC’s Newsbeat [14] as well as making an appearance on the Fox Sports documentary Being Liverpool, and representing fan views on issues such as ticket prices and kick off times. The Anfield Wrap was awarded the ‘Podcast Of The Year’ award in 2012 and 2015 by The Football Supporters Federation, in 2015 according to The Liverpool Echo presenter and writer Neil Atkinson led The Anfield Wrap delegation to the stage before delivering a “barnstorming acceptance speech”. [19] The Anfield Wrap won ‘Best Football Podcast’ at The Football Blogging Awards in 2016 and was The Football Supporters’ Federation ‘Radio Show Of The Year’ 2016. [20] They were nominated for ‘Club Podcast of the Year’ at the 2017 Football Supporters Federation Awards. [21] At the 2018 British Podcast Awards The Anfield Wrap won silver, behind only Kermode and Mayo's Film Review in the listeners choice award. [22] On 31 October The Anfield Wrap was announced as nominated for the ‘Fan Media of the Year’ award at the 2018 Football Supporters Federation Awards. [23] At the 2019 British Podcast Awards The Anfield Wrap again picked up second place silver medal for the ‘listeners choice’ award. [24] At the 2019 Football Supporters Federation Awards The Anfield Wrap won ‘Best Fan Media’. [25] The Anfield Wrap was shortlisted for the Fan Media of the Year at the Football Supporters' Association awards in 2020 and 2021. My Old Man Said (MOMS) is the name of the online publication and Aston Villa F.C. supporters' group. MOMS was formed in 2011 from the ashes of the supporter protest against the controversial appointment of Aston Villa F.C. manager Alex McLeish. The group and site takes its name from the Aston Villa supporters' song My Old Man.

Neil Atkinson is a Liverpool based writer, broadcaster and film producer. Atkinson is the host, ‘Content Manager’, and one of the main writers and business developers behind online football and culture magazine The Anfield Wrap which has had over 28 million podcast downloads worldwide. Atkinson has presented sell out shows of The Anfield Wrap in London, New York, Melbourne, Ireland and Scandinavia as well as on stage at the Sound City Festival in Liverpool.

Melissa Reddy is a South African football journalist and author. Reddy left her role as the Senior Football Correspondent at The Independent in March 2022, to become a senior reporter for Sky Sports and Sky Sports News. Her speciality is the Premier League.

The Football Supporters' Association is the national, democratic, representative body for football supporters in England and Wales. They are the leading advocates for supporter ownership, better fan engagement, cheaper ticket prices, the choice to stand at the match, protecting fan rights, good governance, diversity, and all types of supporter empowerment across both the men's and women's game.
