The Bakkery (stylized as TheBakKery) is the sixth studio album by American rapper Cupcakke, released independently on October 24, 2025. [1] It is her follow-up to her previous album, Dauntless Manifesto (2024). It was supported by the lead single "One Of My Bedbugs Ate My Pussy", and more supporting singles such as "Sloppy Joe", "UFO", and "Ballerina Coupe".

Background

In 2025, she announced the release of her next album [2] via Instagram [3] , with the tracklist just days later being revealed. [4] [5]

CupcakKe herself shares in a tweet that this album is self-written, in the matter of seven weeks. [6] She wanted to expand as she has gotten complaints on production from her last album, expanding her versatility. She quoted; "I wanted to really bring FUN back. But still stay true to the original sound. Trying new sounds was very risky for me and believe it or not "Alcoholic" was definitely one of the songs I was going to cut off the album. But the people around me saw something in the record that I didn't."

Promotion

The song "One Of My Bedbugs Ate My Pussy" was announced on June 2nd, to release on 6/9. [7] It served as the lead single for the album. A music-lyric video for the song was uploaded to YouTube on July 1, 2024, animated by Sinclair DuGore. [8] The song's "Itsy Bitsy Spider" interpolation had also gained attention on TikTok, producing several fan-made remixes. [9]

No more singles were released until the album came out. However, the songs that were initially pushed by cupcakKe were "Ballerina Coupe", and "UFO", both with music videos produced by Legit Looks. [10] [11]

"Sloppy Joe" would later receive TikTok treatment, followed by a viral trend based on the days of the week said in the song. [12]

This album is yet to be reviewed or covered by any major music critics.
