Maureen Reillette "Rebbie" Jackson-Brown is an American singer and the eldest child of the Jackson family of musicians. Her sister La Toya was born on her sixth birthday. At age 34, Jackson released her debut album Centipede (1984). By the end of the 1980s, the singer had released two more albums in quick succession: Reaction (1986) and R U Tuff Enuff (1988).

They are sometimes called the "First Family of Soul", the "Imperial Family of Pop", or the "Royal Family of Pop", especially following the success of Michael and Janet Jackson, the former of whom is frequently dubbed the "King of Pop".

More recently in 2022, she starred as the Scottish journalist Tannie Maria in the series Recipes for Love and Murder, set in the Karoo in South Africa and adapted for the screen from the book of the same name by Sally Andrew.
Dolores Keane is an Irish folk singer. She was a founding member of the group De Dannan following which she pursued a solo recording and touring career.
Makem and Clancy was an Irish folk duo popular in the 1970s and 1980s. The group consisted of Tommy Makem and Liam Clancy, who had originally achieved fame as a part of the trailblazing folk group The Clancy Brothers and Tommy Makem in the 1960s. Makem and Clancy sang a combination of traditional Irish music, folks songs from a variety of countries, and newly written pieces, including compositions that Tommy Makem himself wrote. One reporter described their music as "more polished and varied than that used by the Clancy Brothers."
Emmet Spiceland was an Irish folk band formed when brothers Brian Byrne and Michael Byrne of the Spiceland Folk Group joined forces with Dónal Lunny, Brian Bolger and Mick Moloney's Emmet Folk Group.

Marvin Lawrence Winans is an American pastor and gospel singer, and a member of the musical Winans family. He is also known for his recurring role in the hit show Tyler Perry's House of Payne.
Róisín O is an Irish singer, songwriter, and musician. She is signed to independent label 3ú Records. She released her debut album The Secret Life of Blue in 2012, and it entered the Irish charts at number 21. The album was produced by David Odlum, and was described by the Sunday Times as "evoking the likes of Joni Mitchell, Joanna Newsom and Kate Bush". The daughter of Mary Black, she has performed with members of the Black Family band.
Aoife Scott is an Irish singer-songwriter from Dublin. She was a finalist in the Liet International song contest for minority languages in 2011.
