The Car Chasers is a television series on CNBC that broadcast from March 2013 through February 2015. The reality show covered car restoration professionals who repaired old cars and sold them at a profit. [1] This program also aired in South America on the History Channel as Automaniacos. [2]

14. Little Red Corvette Jeff covets a 1969 Corvette that he envisions turning into a classic racer with fender flares from the seller. Later, a pair of iconic British convertibles catch Jeff's eye when he and Meg visit a huge car collection. 2-11-2015

Jim Motavalli of the New York Times said “The Car Chasers,” an auto-themed reality show on CNBC, comes back for a second season of wheeling and dealing on Tuesday. Jeff Allen, the owner of Flat 12 Gallery in Lubbock, Tex., roams the countryside looking for bargains that he and his team — including his bottom-line-oriented wife, Meg Bailey; his fixer, Perry Barndt; and a master mechanic, Eric Ables — can flip for a profit. KS Wang of Motortrend said Jeff Allen lives a life any car enthusiast would envy. He gets to drive any car he has on his lot, and he buys and sells cars for Hollywood stars like Tim Allen, Charlie Sheen, and director Brett Ratner. He also provides cars for movies. And now, CNBC wants to chronicle his life to show how he flips interesting cars for a profit. The cable network's is heading into the world of unscripted television, and Allen's show "The Car Chasers" is one of the first two reality shows CNBC unveiled last week in its primetime block. [5]

It was front-engined through 2019 and mid-engined since.

The cars in Miami Vice mainly involve the Ferrari Daytona Spyder and the Ferrari Testarossa, but also include other automobiles driven by the characters on the show. Jeff Schwartz is an American protouring car builder/designer and former professional road racer who brought to market the first Bolt-in Muscle Car Chassis for GM A-body cars. In his modified and equipped cars, Schwartz is a six-time winner of the Car Craft Magazine's Real Street Eliminator competition with his fifth and sixth win at the ProAm Invitational in Milwaukee, WI in 2015. In 2013, Schwartz won "Popular Hot Rodding Magazine's Muscle Car of the Year" with his 1981 Twin Turbo TransAm and was voted Car Craft Magazine's "Pro-Builder of the Year" with Jake Wallace's Twin Turbo 1967 Chevy Malibu. In 2017, Schwartz and his crew won his second Car Craft Pro-Builder Award with a right hand drive 1970 Cuda. He is the owner of Schwartz Performance in Woodstock, IL, the founder of the Schwartz Motocross History Museum in McHenry, IL and the father of two children.
Thomas Meade was an American automobile designer and dealer best known for his Thomassima series of custom cars based on Ferrari engines and chassis. He was based in Modena, Italy from the early 1960s through the early 1970s, where he met and collaborated with many Modenese carrozzerie, manufacturers and mechanics.
