The Chef's Academy is the culinary division of Harrison College based in Indianapolis, Indiana. Harrison College, formerly known as Indiana Business College, is a for-profit career college based in Indianapolis, Indiana, with locations across Indiana, online and in Ohio. The college was founded as Marion Business College in 1902 in Marion, Indiana.
The Chef's Academy is a division of Harrison College, with an Indianapolis, Indiana-based campus as well as a regional campus in Raleigh, North Carolina. Both offer bachelor and associate degree programs in culinary and hospitality fields.

Harrison College/The Chef's Academy is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools to award Certificates, Diplomas and Associate of Applied Science and Bachelor of Science Degrees. The Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools is listed as a nationally recognized accrediting agency by the United States Department of Education. Its accreditation of degree-granting institutions is also recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.

The Culinary Institute of America (CIA) is an American private college and culinary school specializing in culinary, baking, and pastry arts education. The school's primary campus is located in Hyde Park, New York, with branch campuses in St. Helena and Napa, California; San Antonio, Texas; and Singapore. The college, which was the first to teach culinary arts in the United States, offers associate, bachelor's, and master's degrees, and has the largest staff of American Culinary Federation Certified Master Chefs. The CIA also offers continuing education for professionals in the hospitality industry as well as conferences and consulting services. It was founded in 1933 and has campuses in the Bronx, New Rochelle and Saint Lucia, with degree programs also available through Monroe Online. The college is named after James Monroe, the fifth president of the United States. It is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education.
Sullivan University is a private for-profit university based in Louisville, Kentucky. Its schools operate across six campuses all based in Switzerland, with a student base of more than 6,000 enrolled students from around the world. Its schools have more than 25,000 alumni representing 110 nationalities.
Stratford University was a private university based in Virginia. Founded in 1976, Stratford delivered online, classroom, and blended online/classroom programs. It closed at the end of the Fall 2022 semester after losing its accreditation.
The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale is a former for-profit art and culinary school in Fort Lauderdale, Florida which closed in 2018. The school was one of a number of Art Institutes, a franchise of for-profit art colleges with many branches in North America, owned and operated by Education Management Corporation (EDMC). EDMC owned the college from 1973 until 2017, when, facing declining enrollment, multiple fraud charges brought by faculty and students, and accreditation issues at some of its schools, the company sold the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, along with other properties, to Dream Center Education, a Los Angeles-based Pentecostal organization. Dream Center Education planned to operate the school, along with others it acquired, as a non-profit. The plan proved unsustainable, with Dream Center permanently closing 18 Art Institute schools, including Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, at the end of 2018.
Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Chicago was founded in 1983, and closed in September 2017. The school was accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and was located in Chicago, Illinois. The school offered an Associate of Occupational Studies degree, a Certificate Program in Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts, and an Associate of Occupational Studies degree in Le Cordon Bleu Pâtisserie and Baking.
The California Culinary Academy (CCA) was a for-profit school, and an affiliate of Le Cordon Bleu located in San Francisco, California. Danielle Carlisle established the school in 1977 to train chefs using the European education model. The original location on the corner of Fremont and Howard Street in the South of Market area of San Francisco, was located in the remodeled, top-floor, cafeteria in the Del Monte headquarters. The academy trained more than 15,000 people for restaurant careers through its 30-week baking and pastry chef program and 16-month culinary arts degree program. It was purchased by Career Education Corporation in 1999.
The Orlando Culinary Academy (OCA) was a culinary and hospitality training school and an affiliate of Le Cordon Bleu Schools North America. The Academy was established in January 2002 and was located in Orlando, Florida. OCA is a branch campus of the International Academy of Design and Technology's Tampa division. In July 2007, the Orlando Culinary Academy was named College of the Year by the Florida Association of Postsecondary Schools and Colleges Conference. All US Le Cordon Bleu College locations closed in 2017.
César Ritz Colleges Switzerland is a college in Switzerland named in the honour César Ritz. César Ritz Colleges Switzerland provides education on entrepreneurship and business management in Le Bouveret and Brig, Switzerland. The school offers bachelor's and master's degree programs in partnership with Washington State University (USA) and the University of Derby (UK), and it shares its campuses with sister school Culinary Arts Academy Switzerland.
Center for Culinary Arts, Manila (CCA) is an institution that provides culinary education in the Philippines. It was formally established in 1996 and is currently located in Katipunan Avenue, Quezon City, Philippines. It has satellite campuses in Farmers Market, Cubao; a Restaurant School at SM Mall of Asia called Oceana; and at Eastwood Mall called CCA Kitchen. It offers diploma and certificate programs accredited by the Accrediting Commission of the American Culinary Federation. The school also offers basic courses for beginners and professionals as well as international degree succession and certification.
Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts is a private culinary school with campuses in Boulder, Colorado, Austin, Texas, and online. The school offers culinary arts, pastry arts, hospitality, food entrepreneurship, holistic nutrition and wellness, and plant-based programs. It is named after Auguste Escoffier, a French chef who is regarded as the father of modern haute cuisine, and owned by Triumph Higher Education group.
National College, formerly National College of Business & Technology and also formerly National Business College, is a college operating in the southeastern and east-central United States. It was formerly accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools and then became accredited by Distance Education Accrediting Commission. National College is now called American National University.
Kendall College at National Louis University is a culinary arts and hospitality management college of National Louis University, a private university in Chicago, Illinois. It was founded in 1934 as an independent college and later became a subsidiary of Laureate Education, Inc. On August 6, 2018, National Louis University received approval from the Higher Learning Commission and the U.S. Department of Education to transfer Kendall College's programs and other assets from Laureate Education to the university.
Harrison College was a private for-profit college based in Indianapolis, Indiana, with 11 campuses in Indiana, Ohio, and North Carolina. The college was founded as Indiana Business College in 1902 in Marion, Indiana. Harrison graduated more than 80,000 students, with associate degrees, bachelor's degrees and certificates in more than 30 programs across six schools of study: business, nursing, health sciences, information technology, veterinary technology and culinary arts at The Chef's Academy at Harrison College. Harrison was accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) and its baccalaureate nursing degree programs were accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education. On September 14, 2018, an open letter was published on Harrison College's website explaining that all campuses would close permanently on September 16, 2018, except for The Chef's Academy, which would stay open until the term ended on October 14, 2018.
