Flagler County is a county on the east coast of the U.S. state of Florida. As of the 2010 census, the population was 95,696. Its county seat is Bunnell. Created in 1917 from portions of Saint Johns and Volusia Counties, it was named for Henry Morrison Flagler, who built the Florida East Coast Railway.

It lies about 51 miles (82.1 km) northeast of Orlando, 86 miles (138.4 km) southeast of Jacksonville, and 265 miles (426.5 km) northwest of Miami. In the 2010 U.S. Census, it had a population of 61,005. It is a principal city of the Deltona–Daytona Beach–Ormond Beach metropolitan area, which was home to 600,756 people as of 2013. Daytona Beach is also a principal city of the Fun Coast region of Florida.
DeLand is a city in the U.S. state of Florida. It is the county seat of Volusia County. The city sits approximately 34 miles (55 km) north of the central business district of Orlando, and approximately 23 miles (37 km) west of the central business district of Daytona Beach. As of the 2010 U.S. Census, the city had a population of 27,031. It is a part of the Deltona–Daytona Beach–Ormond Beach metropolitan area, which was home to 590,289 people as of the 2010 census.

The S. H. Kress and Co. Building at 140 South Beach Street in Daytona Beach, Florida, United States is a historic building. It was part of the S. H. Kress & Co. "five and dime" department store chain. On July 7, 1983, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. AME of Volusia, an investment firm owned by Albert M. Esposito, purchased the four-story building in 2007 from Mac Smith, an Ormond Beach Realtor who had owned it for 14 years. It was subdivided into 17,000 square feet of office space in the early 1980s. Among the larger tenants are the Zgraph web design firm, Image Makers advertising agency, Belliker Art Gallery, Daytona Beach Symphony Society and the Alzheimers Association of Volusia-Flagler, according to a Daytona Beach News-Journal article on March 12, 2007.

Rogers, a former student of Thurman's at Howard University and tennis champion and activist Arthur Ashe, worked to preserve the house. It was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places on February 23, 1990.

Seabreeze is a beachside neighborhood in Daytona Beach, Florida, which existed as an independent city from May 24, 1901 until January 1, 1926, when it merged with Daytona and Daytona Beach to become one consolidated city.
Seybold Baking Company Factory, also known as Columbia Baking Company or Southern Bakeries Factory, is a historic building at 800 Orange Avenue in Daytona Beach. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on October 30, 1997. The property is part of the Daytona Beach Multiple Property Submission.
South Ridgewood Elementary School is a school building and national historic site located at 747 S. Ridgewood Avenue, Daytona Beach, Florida in Volusia County. Built in 1916, it is the oldest surviving school building in Volusia County and was one of the earliest schools in Daytona Beach. Architects Mark and Sheftall of Jacksonville designed the building, a brick structure with Prairie School features. Local architects Gehlert and Spicer planned an addition to the school in 1956. The school integrated in 1971, making it the first elementary school in Volusia County to do so. The school closed in 1983 and is now an administrative building for the Volusia County School System.
