Pavlos Melas was a Greek revolutionary and artillery officer of the Hellenic Army. He participated in the Greco-Turkish War of 1897 and was amongst the first Greek officers to join the Macedonian Struggle.
Pavlos, Crown Prince of Greece, Prince of Denmark, is the current head of the former Greek royal family. He is the second child and eldest son of the last king of Greece, Constantine II, and Queen Anne-Marie. His father served as king from 1964 until 1973, when the Greek monarchy was abolished. Pavlos was crown prince and heir apparent to the throne from birth until the monarchy's abolition. He became head of the former Greek royal family following his father's death on 10 January 2023. As a male-line descendant of Christian IX of Denmark he is a Danish prince, although not in succession to its throne. Queens Margrethe II of Denmark and Sofía of Spain are his aunts, and Kings Felipe VI of Spain and Frederik X of Denmark his first cousins.
Pavlos Kountouriotis was a Greek admiral who served during the Balkan Wars, was regent of Greece, and the first president of the Second Hellenic Republic. In total he served four times as head of the Greek state, the most times in the history of the seat.
Stavroupoli is a suburb of the Thessaloniki Urban Area and a former municipality in the regional unit of Thessaloniki, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it has been part of the Pavlos Melas Municipality, of which it is the seat and a municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 3.175 km2. Stavroupoli is located northwest of Thessaloniki's city centre.
Pavlos Bakoyannis was a liberal Greek politician who was well known for his broadcasts against the Greek military junta of 1967–1974 on Bayerischer Rundfunk radio. He was shot and killed in the front entrance of his office in 1989 by members of the terrorist group Revolutionary Organization 17 November.

Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality of Neapoli-Sykies, of which it is a municipal unit. The 2021 census recorded 6,086 people in Agios Pavlos. The municipal unit of Agios Pavlos covers an area of 1.953 km2.

Pavlo Simtikidis, often called simply Pavlo is a Greek-Canadian guitarist who plays, "a Mediterranean sound mixing the folkloric styles of Greek, Spanish and Latin music with pop sensibilities." Born in Toronto, Canada, he is the son of Greek immigrants, George & Freda Simtikidis, of Kastoria, Greece. His albums Pavlo and Fantasia certified Gold in Canada, and album Fantasia was nominated in 2001 for a JUNO Award for Best Instrumental Album.
Pavlos Matesis was a Greek novelist, playwright and translator. He was born in Divri, a village in the Peloponnese and had a peripatetic youth. He studied acting, music and languages, and taught drama at the Stavrakou School in Athens (1963–64). He also worked as a writer at the National Theatre during 1971–73. He wrote scripts for two television series broadcast on the state channel (1974–76).

The Solomos Museum, officially known as the Museum of Solomos and Eminent Zakynthians, is a museum dedicated to Dionysios Solomos and Andreas Kalvos. Founded in 1959, it is located in St. Mark's Square, in the northern part of Zakynthos. The museum features local art from the 18th and 19th centuries, sculptures, musical instruments contemporary to the eminent Zakynthians, and ceramics. There are also portraits dedicated to the most important people of the island. Since March 2022, its head is a female mathematician Eleni Pylarinou.
