Production and release

The series was filmed at Kemps Creek, New South Wales. [1]

The first series aired on Network 10 from 12 October 2021, narrated by veterinarian Chris Brown. [2] It is based on the UK series The Dog House . The series was renewed for a second season in October 2021 [3] and premiered on 8 March 2022. [4]

A third season was renewed in October 2022 [5] and premiered on 8 February 2023 with actor Mark Coles Smith replacing Brown as series narrator. [6] [7] Auditions for a fourth season opened in September 2023, which began airing on 1 February 2024. [8] [9]
